Ah well still interested In this and the dug amp. Prolly won't buy either but I would really like to hear them both. And from the namm coverage, tons of cool stuff coming out this year.

Why is gold wire and connectors not important in music gear? Not a quality enough signal to merit it? Or just no real chance for corrosion to occur to need it?

Audiophiles are rich so it is important. Musicians are poor...

Gold connectors don't make an electrical connection "better", they just make the connector corrosion resistant.

Apparently you can still get oxidation on gold, as deoxit has a gold version. (just ordered regular deoxit last night, my jack is making noise after hanging on the wall for a few months)

So class D is pulse width modulation style (binary), and can take a digital signal input source without requiring a (DAC)... but it's just a coincidence that it's called class "D". Pretty cosmic.

i just went on a rant in another thread about ampeg not making a 410E kind of cab (half a 810). The vt cab has not tweeter, thats a good sign.
I'll have to inquire about the construction methods with tech 21.

the 410HE half an 810E. It has a tweeter but that can be turned off or bypassed. You can also get 2 AV210s and that would also get you half an 810E.

the 410HE half an 810E. It has a tweeter but that can be turned off or bypassed. You can also get 2 AV210s and that would also get you half an 810E.

410he only comes in 8 ohms I think. 2x210s would work but look blah imo.

I don't know why any bass cabs have tweeters? If I use a cab that has one the first think I do is turn it off if possible.
