I can't express how bad I want a bridge like that with a thin neck.
Almost enough for a Ghost system. But those prices are absurd.

I can't express how bad I want a bridge like that with a thin neck.

i'd seriously consider getting two of these for recording and home practice, except i'd need a step down tranny for it to work in new zealand. sigh.
Maybe boys watching boys causes it. I was watching three insane brothers. For the long time their favorite game was me on my back in the middle of the room fending them all off with my arms and legs like an octopus with them in Mexican wrestling costumes (for extra strength and awesomeness of course).
Then repeated viewings of pingu... God I hate that show.
My understanding is the builder is extremely flexible. You should try emailing him to see if a 240v could be made available.
@CL400Peavey, has one with modifications.
You seem slick with guitar wiring, couldn't you rig up some piezos and control them individually somehow? You could even get fancy like the beer cap guy, LOL.

Try your bassic and dually before you buy any drivers. Do you have a budget in mind for a build?

I'll try them for sure, and I also have my two peavey 4x10 pa columns to try too.
Really, I traded a $15 bad monkey for the amp, and got free tubes and wood for the headcase, and labors free. So I don't want to really break the bank on the cab so let's say $100-$250 (for all materials) if you can really convince me I'm making something cool, but I'd love it to be ultra cheap.
I just miss that open back cab tone, and even my bass vi sounded great through the crate v50's open 1x12 (even though you said that wasn't healthy). If budget meant I needed to just use an existing open back cab, with a different drive I do have like a few busted vintage 1x10 and 1x12 practice cabs at my parents. Or I can build a cab, around a driver and seal it if I want, as well as better match my head, then cool.
Arkam says they make export models on request on the site.
You know it's be cool if you could use like Google glasses or some future offshoot to alter the landscape to black and white or sepia etc.

Rough couple of days. I lost my work keys which had a master key and electric swipe attached. I always leave it either in my car's console or at home on my desk. Turned my car and house inside out to try and find them but nothing showed up. Even traced my steps and called up every store and petrol station I went passed (fortunately it wasn't a lot) to ask if anyone had reported any keys but nothing's turned up. If I did somehow drop in on the floor over the weekend, its guaranteed gone since the three days of rainwater would have definitely washed it into the gutters.
I rock up at work this morning and break the news to my boss. He wasn't happy but he wasn't AS upset as I thought he'd be. I do have to pay to replace the keys though which is gonna cost an arm and a leg which sucks but its only fair. There goes my Berg NV610 hopes, though. Big bummer.

My Valve junior is acting up, its super quiet, like cuts out from being loud to super quiet. I mean I do run it dimed with a brick wall of fvck gain smashing it from a modded MT2...first tube amp, what could be happening? Need new tubes?
So a few weeks back I asked around for ideas on how to wire up my new DiMarzios in my old Samick PJ.
I settled on 500k volume with push/pull "dual sound" on the Jazz pup; a Tonestyler 11, and a SPST for Neck/series/Bridge switching.
When the parts finally came in my SPST was a micro switch and wouldn't stay in the hole in my bass.
So I dropped it for a week or so while I looked for the right size switch( 3/8" medium length shaft).
Needless to say the search annoyed me so I dropped it and decided today to just wing it with the existing switch.
Digging through my parts box looking for my solder quick I stumbled on exactly the right switch I had all along.
Well sort of, the toggle is console sized so it's like an inch long. Whatever, I'll Dremel it later.
All wired up and sounds fantastic. Couldn't be happier with Der Tone.
Switching seems to work as expected, although I'm getting some bleeding through my volume pot. Doesn't quite goto zero (although I'm thrilled I got the direction correct on first try.) so I'll need some ohmmeter time checking over it soon.
Also figured since it's got an oversized switch I'd hook'em'up with oversized knobs too.
Wondering if it'll still sound awesome when it's fixed right.

I just found an amp to work for my dual rig idea. Don't have $100 plus shipping... Ha!
Side note, the band is moving to new space tonight. I can't help though. This was supposed to happen last night, but the dude that runs it couldn't be there or whatever. So of course I have no one to watch kids and it's happening tonight.

Might have noodled for about a minute but the shifting resonance peak thing is really cool. Really seems to keep mids while eliminating treble.
Probably going to put them in everything. For ever. Always.

cables are all fine. Mine is a one of the factory hot rodded Valve Jrs with the added reverb and gain and master, it seems to not cut out as much if i keep the gain low...preamp tube?

What amp is it?
Preamp tubes are just a cheaper thing to replace and test, and most often the culprit of issues. Though your amp isn't exactly pricey to retube.
