What amp is it?



Preamp tubes are just a cheaper thing to replace and test, and most often the culprit of issues. Though your amp isn't exactly pricey to retube.

Nothing special and nothing that won't come up again. I might be able to get it if I can sell my Dan-o-wah

My Valve junior is acting up, its super quiet, like cuts out from being loud to super quiet. I mean I do run it dimed with a brick wall of fvck gain smashing it from a modded MT2...first tube amp, what could be happening? Need new tubes?

Like Bryce says I would try a preamp tube swap, JJ's are cheap too. Speaking of modded Valve Jr's the one BAT has in some of their videos is so killer sounding even before they click on a pedal. I would love to know the mods they used on it.

No reason but lately I have been fascinated with watching youtube videos of people living off the grid, and people living in vans down by the river for some reason. Well I stumbled on this gem last night, an older documentary people living on The Mesa. Bryce if you watch this I know what you will be thinking, might be worth a trip to do some trading, some partying, some gun blinkin', and to start a harem of starter girlfriends...jk, LOL. I do think my girlfriend is getting nervous from me watching all these videos that I will buy some junk RV and take off LOL.

I understand the Micro Pog love now. I was analog only octave for a while and have the Lowrider and love it but that EHX Pitch Fork does the micro pog thing plus other tunings and detune. I love having B standard at a click of a button. Plus you can make silly circus/organ noises with the dual octave switch engaged especially with fuzz. I organized the pedals in two rows finally, those pancake head pedal cables really tighten up the pedal spacing. Need to get another pack. Trying to figure the best spot in the chain to put that Unity Fuzz, think after my overdrives will sound better, it gets too bright when I run it into the Hellcat.

We still haven't received my wife's W2 and she only worked until June last year. Her old work is the worst for anything HR related though. I'm hoping for a pretty good refund this year, considering we had a kid, my wife only worked half a year and the amount of out of pocket medical expenses we paid for.

Yeah, I immediately went and marked it as sold on all the forums I had it listed and on CL. Not that it matters much, Reverb was the only place where it could actually be bought "instantly". So if anything else I'm selling sells somewhere else, I gotta hurry up and delete it off Reverb pronto. Someone on here hit me up about shipping my Ray34CA to Canada, but I haven't heard back yet. All the stuff I'm selling on Reverb right now has the lowest price for what it is on the site, so if they don't move quick there I doubt they will anywhere. A lot more eyes on that site than local CL (which SUCKS here for gear) or any forums.

You using that detune on guitar or bass for b?
I just mentioned it as one of the options I thought made the Pitch Fork pretty versatile. I don't dig chorus effect much so I don't use it much, mostly on guitar since I got some bass wiring to do.

My voodoo power has an 18v and shortage of 9v so it's gonna go with my dano pedals, so I need to find a better 9v power source for my stereo board. I'll need to get some pancake heads too.

Those Hosa patch cables are what I use, they're the lowest profile ones around, period. I actually made a thread on here with the measurements, because they're not available online anywhere and lots of people were claiming that a few others were lower profile, when they were twice as thick at the connector or more.

You can get them even cheaper if you hunt around for stores online that aren't amazon/ebay and don't show up on Google shopping search.

Good to know, yeah I love how nut to butt you can pack those pedals in with them. I need to order another set. Took me a little bit of searching because some people call them pancake and some call them low profile. When I laid out a pedalboard configuration for my PT-2, switching between standard right angle patch cables and those made room for a whole other pedal.

I see guys on the pedal boards saying they wish all pedals were top input/output jacks but with those Hosa's it's no big deal IMO. I would really rather all the power jack inputs were on top because of daisy chaining the adapter. I am trying to figure out what size board to buy so maybe when I get one it will be easier to hide/run the daisy chain. With them straight on the floor I am afraid to pinch any under the pedals and jazz up a wire.

I've only run into a problem with them a few times, when two jacks were very close together and those low profile heads were two wide to clear next to each other. Twice is was on top mounted jacks and once with my Boss LS-2, because it was 3 jacks close to each other on either side. So occasionally I had to have one standard right angle Hosa patch cable in the mix to make it work. Most of the time I don't have any issue with them though. I have thought about grinding down one side a couple times.

Just found a Peavey Mark 3 with the horrible 80s blue writing on black face, and a Carvin probass 300. Between these and the Crate, I'm still thinking crate... If I can get money in time.

I also keep seeing a bunch of the behringer 300 and 450 watt heads. I'm figuring anything that has survived this long, is probably one of the few good ones. They haven't made the 300 watter in a few years.
