Drummers, I can adjust that beater stick to be more upright right? When it comes back it bops the top of my barefoot like it wants me to know what it's going through.
Just be aware that those power ratings are closer to half of what they claim. They have an interesting way of justifying their specs.
The Peavey Mark III was my first and main bass amp for about 5 years. Solid amp, especially is you're using pedals for dirt.
Yeah, you can loosen a bolt and adjust the position of the beater and another for the tension. Usually it uses the same head as drum lugs, so you can use a tuning key. You might be constrained by the length of the chain or have to reposition it.
Yes they are so close to the input or output jacks on the sides of the pedal that it gets messy fast with the daisy chain. I am thinking of making my own board then I can drill a hole wherever to run pain in the arse connections underneath, though every pedal will be offset I suppose. Maybe I will get one of those holey boards and see how that goes and I could drill more holes if I want that way. Not sure why I care I will probably never play anywhere ebut my house and if I did I would just use a small board with the necessary pedals to jam with. But at home I like to make lots of different noises LOL. Sometimes I wish I was into my house like I am into guitar gear. Oh we need to run new wire to the entertainment center(then I think that means Vietnam War tunnel rat patrol under my 18 inch crawl space) nah that can wait but damn I need another six pack of those pancake cables. Or maybe if I watch youtube I can see how to hang drywall and lay down new flooring, nah I'm going to watch pedal reviews instead or old Bigfoot documentaries, maybe even something about a guy living in a van down by the river, yep that's what I will do.
I owned a peavey mark 3 centurion and a large 210 or 212 cab in the mid/late 90's. I remember it taking a lot of abuse and not having any trouble with it. I also remembering it sounding the opposite of good.

Yo here's three very different but should work amp'd in your area, two channel power amp, older peavey, and a newer Kustom SS guitar head, but it's a 220 watt clean platform. All cheap and I full expect you to haggle of you talk to them.
Also, if you or anyone at all has even just a handsaw and drill, I'd really suggest looking into one of the ton of cheap combo amps I saw on your area and other CO cities... Just crack it open, make a gead and resell or keep the combo.
Shopping these lead sleds your looking at it going to be pretty damn expensive. Your amps being under $200 don't qualify for free shipping on GC.
My friend has a behringer 300 watt 1x15 combo that's goddamn surprising, I really want to run it side by side with the bassic and maybe even dually.
They have a lot of low mid punch for sure. Not that they are bad, but that if you stacked them up next to a different amp, on the same cab, you would notice a difference in head room.
I'll have him bring it for comparisons some time to my cabs and amps. His guitarist does have a bright tone and his drummer a smaller kit so maybe that low mid emphasis just works for that situation.
I need to also try my setup in a place with a foundation and louder amp, I do not get the eyes bouncing from the bass effect Max gets and I'm jealous. The gk mb500 started to overdrive grossly clean, and if I added the UD it got that loud and awesome, but certainly wasn't clean.
Thanks man, but those are all either at the top of the budget, or I'm not sure they will work(the guitar head). The power amp would require another pre, I'm not sure the Peavey has enough oomph. First, get money. I might be puttin the cart before the horse here...
Haha so in several CO listings there was repeated mentioning of a refusal to do mmj trades. Had to look it up, I guess I didn't think about it but in a legal pot state, that's a real option...
i've been genuinely curious about Tonestylers for a while. they make a dual EQ range stereo option specifically for ricks too..
after a discussion on first church i'm interested in trying some balanced string sets for C standard on the Rick - is there a calculator?
Im in no rush on selling it, and if you find something thats equal in price and in better condition and with knobs, go for that, because like I said on FB DOOM room it could use a teching.
