6 or 7 times for me, touched the bubble and all that. The last one I went to didn't have the same vibe as the previous ones though. The darker recent material has kind of put a damper on the sensory-overload-positive-vibe-awesomefest experience. Wayne's recent dickish behavior is kind of a let down, too. But I still love most of their music.

Two 4 ohm duallies was the plan. Hopefully I will be able to order the first one in the next 2 months. As far as the gain goes, I did have it cranked all the way and I really liked the sound. As of late though, when the gain is cranked, I cannot even approach noon with the master. The amp just doesn't seem like its that loud at all in parallel mode. I had not heard anything about what @mc_muench said regarding the limiter. I knew that the preamp clip light should always be glowing but the limiter light can spell trouble when it is glowing. I would rather not blow this POS before I get a chance to flip it. I'll have to try the compressor. I am usually very skeptical of built in compressors.

Thanks for the opinions on the Boogies. Y'all saved me some dollars.

I would try it in bridge mode, just be careful not to kill your cab.

Ooh i thought you were refering to the clipping light as the limiter light...yeah limiter light should probably not be glowing constantly...

I will have to do some research. My understanding is that the limiter is there to keep issues from happening. Kind of like a soft clip compression. If it is anything like Peavey's DDT then it should be fine to ride it.


Fwiw, when I use my Mark VIII I see the DDT light a fair bit.

That limiter light is just there to tell you that you are approaching clipping. Probably ~1-3 dB of headroom left, meaning you are hitting maybe 400 watts peak. Dont be scuurd, let that limiter do its job.
