Got it covered, using Cold Black Rivers 610 and my 218. Thanks though! Mykals girlfirend is driving aswell so we said fvck it to downsizing and were bringing everything

Yup theres a ferry, but its its about the same time and money as taking the interstate with tolls and what not.

Id like to give Julian a visit and test out some "real" cabs sometime.

By noise, do you mean power supply hum? If you lift the ground of one of the amps (use a three-prong - to - two-prong adapter at the power plug) the hum should go away. If you feel a little sketchy about that, you should. The ground-lifted amp's connection to earth ground is going through the shield of your instrument cable, to your bass itself, and through the other cable to the grounded amp. Not ideal. Something with isolation transformers (like the Phase Wizard) is the superior solution IMO.

Totally not bass related but someone might get a kick out of this. There is a Tom turkey that walks the sidewalk by my house a few times a day. I love watching him go by and then turning a left on the next street at the end of the block. I like how he makes use of the sidewalk like a person.

that would definitely not be ideal, haha. as the signal is split at my bass, would i only need a single isolation transformer in order to eliminate noise? or would i need one on each channel?

Our forest property has gotten really overgrown so if I'm walking around in the woods it's easiest to use the deer trails. Occasionally I'll need to get somewhere where the deer don't normally go so I'll cut a path with the grass cutter or machete. I'll come back a week or two later to find deer tracks and droppings on my trails. I like that we help each other out.

Awesome. The deer like to lay in the lemon grass(I think that is what the ol' lady calls that stuff) in my front yard. It is a little trippy to see game critters where I live. I live on the far end of a peninsula in the "Main Street" part of town with sidewalks and businesses. I have also seen a ten pointer on Qwynn's Island which is one road/drawbridge in an out.

Odds are you'll be fine. If you can get a 3-2 adapter and put the screw from the faceplate of the outlet through the little tab on the adapter and back onto the faceplate it might act as a ground, that's the theory anyway

You can install a GFCI outlet and use that instead, you'll get your 3 prongs and it will trip before you get killed, that's the theory anyway

This is good advice.

Askrere, if your dad ever comes to visit have him show you how to put in a proper grounded outlet. I know you rent and it's kind of lame to spend money on upgrades to a rental property, but the materials would only cost a few dollars. Or, if you feel confident you can look up instructions online and do it yourself. Just make sure to cut the power at the breaker before you go poking around.

Happy Thursday fellas. More communication with the new drummer dude, going to start putting some feelers out to find some guitar players. Seems like we're on the same page on just about everything so that's good.

I also wanted to mention that last week's jam was my first time using the Joyo American in a band situation - holy shag balls did that thing sound great! I don't know that i really need any other dirt pedals. Of course I'll keep 3-4 options on the board, but I think I've found my main OD/tone shaper.
