Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I think someone posted that video last year - or it could have been one of the other hundred of Graveyard/Witchcraft clones out there.
I've had enough as well, lame watered down riffs, anemic tones, 70s vintage clothes, ugh. Also, this may sound weird or prejudiced, but I don't care: I'm sick of hearing dudes sing in those Scandinavian accents.
I remember how much I thought Wolfmother was a hipster watered-down version of stoner rock when they first hit it big. Those guys are awesome compared to the likes of Vivunder.
At least Wolfmother had FUZZ. I understand having a nice tube head and wanting to use it - but it seems like there's a trend of this super-lite amp OD (I'm talking more about guitar here than bass). I went to a 2-day stoner/doom/sludge fest last year and that's all I heard - where's the fuzz? Where's the Green amps with the gain knob dimed? Chimey, AC/DC OD doesn't work sludge or post-metal music. IMO, anyway.
Last Wednesday running the hail satan deluxe the second stage was off. We have a slow doom riff that closes the song. I get to venture into some open space for a fill through the part.
Just as the drummer raised both arms for the part I click on the second stage. He paused and looked at me like noooo, *** are you turning on! I gave him a wink... Go for it man.
Fit perfectly and brought my part of the riff forward as I hoped it would.
Usually if there is a click from my rig it means somthing strange is going to happen like delay/echo or Wah... Not this time.

I think the fact that I have buried so many people I love, is getting me pissed at people defending the actions of that crust band with a death wish. If you poke the hornet's nest, you're going to get stung.
Yeah. It doesn't matter to me if you like Pantera or not. Leave the man's resting place be.

Need help from the technically-inclined folks: I'm getting shocked by my Voodoo Labs ISO 5 power supply unit. I have five of the six power inputs used, one with a daisy chain to several peds. Am I or, more importantly, any of my peds in danger? Is it just being "overused?" I currently have 11 peds going into it via the singular inputs and the daisy chain. I've never noticed this before today, but I've been zapped three times already, only when touching the power brick.
