Migraines suck too. I got invited to a jam, it's pretty far away, and I have no clue what music they play. I think rock/alternative/improvised jam stuff because I saw the ringleader of the jam who invited me playing acoustic at a hand the acoustic to the next guy kind of thing. When he got the guitar he said I don't know covers just what I write but what he played was good. So I doubt it is covers they are playing. Might be a good way to ease back in to playing with others.

That's nice to have. There are still a bunch of demos, EPs and albums from old bands that I don't have. None of them are in wide release either, so I don't I'll ever come across a copy. I've got copies of the stuff that I was pretty much fully responsible for getting made and released.

Yeah, I'm glad to have it. Other than this, the only other thing I have that I'm on is a demo from my old band in Albuquerque - it's pretty rough - I was not the best drummer at the time. The rest of stuff I've been involved in never got recorded, or if it did I never got any copies. I know there's recordings of the TERRIBLE punk band I was in in high school, but I have no desire to hear that stuff. Yikes.

I think they have these tapes for sale if anyone is interested, I can forward on the contact info. Or it might be on Bandcamp.

I would really like to be in a band and have someone else professionally record and mix something. As much as I love recording and mixing and it's convenient financially to do stuff myself, it would be really nice to focus on the performance and tones and not on the other end of that process.

That's how I'm hoping the next project works out. I didn't end up with the brunt of the work, that all landed on Andrew - but it was a long, difficult process that created a lot of tension. Once tracking was done we should have just sent it off to someone else for mixing and mastering.

Actually after two years I finally did get a response from them. I told them what was wrong with the strings, and how I had contacted them. Got a brush off response. If anything it soured me more to them.

What problems did you have Peavey? I THOUGHT I had problems with them, turned out it was a bad pole magnet on a pickup, not the strings. I sure haven't tried everything, but they're my favorite thus far.
