Posted this question elsewhere and someone suggested theEarthquaker Afterneath and sounds like exactly what im looking for...

After work Im headed to the fancy music store by me called Cream City, its were all the Bluez lawyers go to buy LP that cost more than my entire wall and argue over which OD is more transperant. cause they carry Earthquakers full line, maybe some of the others will be there too...

EHX Catherdal- seems like a jack of all trades when it comes to verb, even have a delay mode so I wouldnt lose a delay pedal really

Death By Audio Reverberation Machine- they only make batshvt crazy stuff, so its very promising.

Mr Black Supermoon- if i can find one.

Any thoughts?

Having heard/felt the henge in action, my thought is that most modulation & delay effects would serve ye best between tracks in a "noisy" bits or really low bits. They're hard-pressed to get through once you get past a medium level of intensity.

The need for it isnt much parts here and there, but delay just turns it into a chaotic wall of crazy, in a bad way.

Since I play mostly with a pick, I was very I interested in those clips and I loved them. The tone was still big and chunky. This thing is officially on my radar

I'm a lover of all bass tones dirty. Be they pushed tubes, fuzz, overdrive, distortion. I have no use for clean tones.

It really excels for great tones with picking. I liked it fingerstyle as well, since it can get a more saturated, verging on fuzzy tone, but for those really percussive, cutting, dirty tones with a pick, it offers a nice alternative to a Rat type circuit. I was able to get it very clangy and very thick and grindy as well. The mid boost control was really helpful there.

Found those clips great too , i am more of a pick player myself and really dig this . Got a demon king for a while now and really digging its tone with my new p-bass , so i am intrigued by this . Hell , i may be blasphemous enough to say i'm enjoying this circuit more than my volt thrower, but for slow stuff VT into bluebeard is king

There's some overlap with tones from the VT and the ODB, but enough unique about each in basic tone and controls for them to have different strong points. For me personally, I really like both for a very cutting distorted picking tone. The key differences are that the VT is a lot more rough and growly when saturated (which is what's unique about the Rat, I think). The ODB is more smooth when saturated. Which, in my experience, is really just the essence of how the Rat and the OCD compare to each other in general. Both pedals maintain the thing that essential and unique about the circuits they're based off, but I think both manage to be more bass friendly and versatile than the originals and a lot of other modded variations. I think the modded OCD versions have been pretty successful in being more bass friendly than the original without losing what makes it unique, but I don't really feel the same way about Rat variations. Most of the ones I've tried become more bass friendly at the expense of that really rough, growly, biting tone that makes a Rat a Rat. The VT is the only modded Rat type pedal I've had that really satisfies what I want, enough to unseat my vintage Rat from my board permanently. I think both can do that great Unsane, TAD, Jesus Lizard kind of aggressive attack distorted bass tone pretty well.

So, do you have a touch of arthritis? Carpal tunnel issues?

I really worry about my hands. They always have some pain, but I can still usually play. I've not been diagnosed, but I am pretty certain I have arthritis.

Several years back I was playing more guitar than bass and I started having wrist problems. I actually switched to ukulele just so I could still have a stringed instrument to play on. eventually got up to nylon-string classical guitar and somehow over time I've managed to luck out and not have any wrist pain since taking bass back up full swing.

Hope you are okay. Elaborate if you feel like it. Do you take anything for pain?

Of these, I have only played the Cathedral, and it was not with a band, just running solo through it.

It made the right tingly parts tingle. I can say that much. I wouldn't kick one out of bed, and it is cool there's delay as well.
