Don't take cash against it. Buy something you normally would like groceries. Set that money aside. When the bill comes, pay it. Cash usually has the highest interest versus paying for something with the card.

going up to a PT-2. so much for sticking with a little board. gonna use the nano as a portable battery powered one for shows with limited space though.

So I picked up that musicman sub with the moses graphite neck from the classifieds. Damn! Do graphite necks make a difference! Its cool! Thick, but bell like. REAL articulate!
It arrived setup really strange. I swear, almost every bass I buy seems like it was just Jimmy rigged to play and noone knows how to do a proper set up..
Anyway. Its Awesome. What's even cooler is any day now a Wal style musicman pickup is gonna show up for me to try out in it! Woo-hoo.

Switched to a G&L for the last song in drop C#. Keep your expecations low, maybe clean your room while listening. Our singer's good though.

I can't get that sumbich to play on my phone or work computer but the problem is problem between my chair and my computer.
Bongripper and royal blood and a bunch of stuff got added to Amazon primes streaming service the other day. To those of you who use it.
So our trusty TASCAM 4-track recorder seems to be giving up the ghost. We picked up a TASCAM DR-05 for less than $100 and tried it out yesterday. It handled the volume ok, the drums gave it some trouble so we had to play around with where we placed it. The input level was set as low as possible and I used the limiter function to prevent any distortion from sudden spikes. The recordings ended up sounding quite compressed, there is little room for dynamics in the DR-05, but the sound quality is quite clear. With a little more experimentation with placement i think we can get it to sound even better but for practice and considering the price and ease of use it really is a no brainer for anyone looking for a cheap recording solution.

I have a DR-40. Nice little unit as long as you have the gain pulled way back.
i looked at the DR-40 and decided we really don't need the additional features it offers. I also have a TASCAM trainer that i really like for practice.
Was jamming last night and noticed that my green Russian big muff sounded wimpy. Ditched the old battery for direct power hookup via 9v adapter plug and she came roaring back to life with all her low end fuzzy glory. It's amazing how much low end this beast has.
Was also messing with my Sheehan OD (a board staple since mid-2013) and flipped the on-board comp. to "high." Sounds good, more focused. May give it a shot at this weekend's gig.

Man figuring out that little Reecho Pro Delay is going to take some time and I am going to need a magnifying glass to know what I am turning LOL. Tap tempo and looper function is what drew me in. I hope I get the clean and wet mixed properly so I can hear more than the clank of the fretboard repeating.
