Ugh, done with class and having a well deserved beer. Work has been all sorts of crazy lately, major reorganizations, lots of radical ideas floating around. I'm safe, was even promised a substantial raise three weeks ago, but man i just wish poopie would settle down again. Every three days there's a new plan and direction for my department, i don't shaging care what they want us to do, they just need to make up their shaging minds.

Have a job offer to consider. Depends on so many factors. I really am comfortable working from home most of the time. It's hard to consider an hour commute again every day... They turn into 2 and three hour commutes when things get nasty.

Thirty minutes is ok. An hour each way, five days a week? Pay would have to be minimum 20% better than what I'm making, and the job would also have to better in other aspects.

Besacktly. It would be a straight shot up 5 but still... Too risky. I have it pretty good and need to remember that. It's probably not going to happen. Need to commit my time to my kid not commuting. Nice to be remembered and called though.

I spend about 10hrs a week getting my daughter back and forth to her sitter. Big time suck. Half of that I don't even get to spend with her. Trying to figure out something I can do from home so I can watch her myself. I'm totally burned out on this job as it is. I'd be happy to lose some money to have that lost time.

I hear you there...
On another front, band members of the practice room we have been poaching are now looking to split the rent with us. I understand where they are coming from but there is no more blood in this turnip. Should have never left my rig there... Probably triggered this. Guitar player is cleaning out a back year storage structure for headphone practice. We need to keep playing though. Last practice session was better but there was still some slop in there. I'll invest in the band for recording but not a space we may get to use 6 times a month. Last time we played out it was a birthday bash. Looks like were invited to play again this year too.
