Is he the violinist who did the cool little instrumental with Mike Watt?Doing a fun, peculiar session today. Recording with an artist named Mark Collie at House of Blues studio A in Nashville. Amazing drum room. Silly amounts of top shelf gear and a massive SSL 9000J consoleView attachment 598107View attachment 598108View attachment 598109

Nice! Pretty beefy tube power section in there - should be a nice bass amp. You want me to tell MKIII guy to **** off if he ever responds to my last email?
Shvt. Turns out the Terror Bass dude probably scammed me. Doesn't answer emails, doesn't answer phones, no contact whatsoever. Good thing is, I bought it on a local auction portal, so they're going to refund me, but it might take a month or two given all the paperwork.
And to think I've already almost bought a cab for that head...
I'm really pissed off right now.
I know this is a popular topic but I'm too lazy to search this thread. I need to give my basses a nice setup before the studio next week. What strings are you guys using for C standard and drop A#? Brand, Style, Gauge? Something that can be purchased at GC and hopefully aren't too bright at first.

Apparently these aren't actually isolated as it still relies on a wall wart, but what problems would that potentially cause me in my old house or where ever I go?
I have the voodoo labs one, but I need a second one for the other board, and don't feel like spending voodoo prices. I lucked out and got mine for $40 off a guy and never see them at that price.
Old suitcases work. Add foam padding and secure pedals to piece of wood.Guess I'll order one once I figure out what to do about boards. I need two boards. Cheap as possible but protective as possible. Especially the Danos with their weak ass jacks and knobs. The dano board gets a cathedral too. The other bit is the stereo setup.
So any recomendations? Rondo boards seem decent and protective. But I want the cheapest best option. View attachment 598300
Got no advice on the pedalboard, but the only Dano effect I have left is their trem. Looks like the yellow one in that pic.
It's the oddest trem pedal I've ever owned. Real clippy. I ort to mess around with it more..
