Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Wow.
Had to go through 6 pages, you guys were busy.
Jason, that's awful, man, I'm pulling for you.
Laz, start chugging that cranberry juice, LOL.
Squanch, belated happy birthday buddy!

Last but not least, "Advaitic Songs" by Om, is one of the greatest headphone albums of all time. The structure of the songs, the production with layering of instruments, I could go on and on. Mostly it was the "space" between the layers/instruments. Whoever was behind the console on this was genius.

I'm only creepy when I'm awake. And, since I live on caffeine and meth, is pretty much around the clock.
I like to watch people when their sleeping.

It's true and he gets all the trace nutrients he needs from eating his meth scabs...

He's in many ways he's the perfect specimen and that is exactly why mothgirl chose him as host over all the rest of humanity.

Jason, you gotta incorporate this line into some lyrics. That just sounds tough.

So sorry you are going through this. But--Stingray!

It'd take the right singer to pull it off lol

The Stingray though...it's a GC exclusive Classic 5 that's got the normal 2 band eq, but then a 4th push/pull, active/passive knob that works as a tone. Black on black w/Birdseye maple.

Watch out for the mummy.
What did the sawbones say is going to be the procedures needed? Did you fracture the sock when the femur popped?

There's a temporary external pin/screw/brace system all screwed into my tibia which they'll fix next week. And yeah, the socket kinda blew apart. Surgery for that is done though. LOL No joke, the doctors name was Dr. Sandman.

Hate to be the one who tells you this, but you're gonna be able to predict rain.
That IS a pretty doom looking leg rig though.

Tracked vox and did final mixing and mastering for GH's track for our very slow progressing split last night. And OMG guys, the results are better than I could ever have expected. Seriously...such tones. Such saturation of fuzz. Its absolutely immense. And the vox turned out great for my first time ever recording them. Cant wait for you guys to hear it, so you can geek out as much as I am over it.

Should have a track to show you guys soonish.

Brutal. Long time ago at a party friends were jumping off a roof onto a refrigerator lying on it's side... Once one of them snapped his leg in three places the activity stopped. He had three anchors and a brace in place like that for a long time.
