Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

...and I think the Bass Soul Food deal I've been hand-holding for a week isn't going to happen. Now the guy says that his buddy that was supposed to pick it up isn't answering his texts. For ****'s sake just let me ship the goddamn pedal. It takes 5 minutes to sign up for paypal.

I'm supposed to sell the cheap acoustic I got sunday to a guy who had a time and place then didn't answer. Now he keep saying he sold his car and I need to come to him... If you couldn't afford the car what are you doing trying to get me to deliver you a guitar at any price?

...and now pedal buyer isn't responding to my messages. Glad I didn't take the ad down. Off to reverb.com it goes.

Work week is over, I'm going to go out and price used PS3s - my first gen finally kicked the bucket last week. It served me well for the better part of a decade - we need a streaming device that isn't my laptop. First world problems.

I kinda feel fortunate that I never got big into video games. I am old enough that I grew up playing pinball (at which I will kick your ass) and I remember when the first kid on the block got Pong.

I did play the early 8-bit type arcade games...I dug Centipede, Missile Command, and was especially good at Galaga.

But Playstations and Xboxes...my teen daughters have them and I like to watch them play sometimes, but I just think "No way could I learn my way around that joystick, and if I was playing that game, all that would happen is I'd get killed a dozen times per minute and my blood pressure would skyrocket..."

I can certainly see the appeal though.

You might be able to fix thine PS3 it's not like you have to worry about the warranty

Yeah i looked into that. If i buy a heat gun, thermal sink compound and completely disassemble the tthing i might be able to make it work for a couple months tops. I'd rather just get another one.

Our ps3 is used 95% of the time for streaming. I play Fallout 3 and New Vegas on occasion, but don't really have much time for it.
