Happy Monday
Yes, to everyone.
Be happier if it wasn't the start of another work week.
By my reckoning just 1300 more to go and maybe I can retire.

Goddamn, that's how old I am?It's funny when you are in your forties you can't wait to be 65 just so you don't have to go to work anymore.
By my calculations, I have about 125,000 more hours to work before I retire, or die which ever comes first.
8hrs a day?Plus you are working 80 hours a week so you are two guys waiting to retire, sheesh!
When I worked at the prison I used to think ok 8 hours a day for 30 or so years means I would have to serve like a 7 year sentence behind bars to retire from there if I would of stayed working there.
My pedals really sound different through the 400RB compared to my other heads. Not awful just different. I like the Tyrant, the Speaker Cranker, and the American Sound less with the 400RB but the Hellcat rat clone much better with the 400RB. I think I need to take the tapewounds off the Jazzquarbird and go back to rounds to really hear the 400RB grind. I still can't get over how good that 64 Jazz bass sounded, I am more a p then a jazz guy but man that thing pounded. Is it bad I like using the mid cut swtich engaged, I felt anti-bass engaging it but damn it sounds good that way. I need to get new knobs for the controls, I guess any grooved slide on knobs would work?

Slacker.

RAT-based pedal into GK? Makes sense, very classic combo. My pedals really sound different through the 400RB compared to my other heads. Not awful just different. I haven't owned any of the RB's unfortunately but my bud in Cosmonaut uses a 400B, the real old schooler, he's got 2 actually and a horizontal power switch 800RB. He mainly uses a Fulltone Mosfet Bassdrive and or a Demon with a Mercy Phuk thrown in here and there. Uses all jazz basses with the Duncan Hot Stack neck pickup. The bridge pickups aren't even connected. Also uses stainless steel strings, mainly the DDT's. Dudes got the best tone in town. That definitive GK sound. Depending on your tuning try out the DDT's or I've been digging the D'addario Pro Steels. Scoop a Demon.
This. Actually, I will probably have to work until I'm dead.
I could probably pursue social security disability, but i couldn't live off it and I don't feel it's something to aspire to.
Gonna be applying for a job in Arizona. Wasn't planning to move so soon, but it pays quite well. At least we wouldn't be struggling so much check to check. Plus we'd get out of Oklahoma again.

I was never into bright strings either. I grabbed the Pro Steels a few months ago cause I wanted something with a bit higher tension. By my ears it's more of a growlier mid thing.
You do realize what "super smart" and "dog" in the same description means, yes?
I feel like this got lost and it's an important comment.
Super smart dogs like Border Collies, Sheepdogs, any kind of herding dog, etc need near-constant stimulation. They ARE smart, but they're also highly energetic and will get into trouble if they're not occupied with some kind of complex game or task.
I love pro steels on my jazz.
Noooo.....that means you have a pet that will get bored really quickly, and bored dogs, especially high energy ones like this, will find ways, usually destructive, to be entertained. And you just got your braces off too! You'll have so much in common!
Korean food?
