Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Or a naked, oiled up madman wearing a Hawaiian carved mask, wielding a machete and screaming "Where is the terror?" over and over. If you need to ratchet up the pressure a little.
You sir apparently dork out to horror movies as much as I do. A much simpler method would be walking in there wearing only a banana hammock and a sign that says free hugs. It's a gamble as there may be a tech into that, but most likely the first uncomfortable hug will have them responding to the problem expediently.

It's so sad, I had to remove it from your head case, the lonely empty head case is sitting on my spare beater Yorkville cab. It was something how Orange USA repair is located so close to Humbucker Music the Orange guru store isn't it?

Yeah, I was wondering if You had sent it to them in the headcase (I would've loved to see their tech open the box). Probably how they are Orange's biggest dealer in the US, and their prices are the best around on all things Orange, being they're right in their back yard.

Haha, LMAO. Yeah, that'd be taking demanding a quick resolution, to the next level for sure, lol

I didn't want to give them your idea nor did I want a possible careless tech fudging my tolex or the case up.

Yeah, I can totally understand that, and I'd totally be ass-hurt if they jazz'd up the case or tolex.

All said, given how many of the folks I've built cases for have shared rig photos on Orange's facebook page, with the headcases, I'm sure they're well aware of My shenanigans, and that I'm kinda local to them, lol.

Yeah sure they know too, I'm just old school watching my buddie's backs, and snitches get stitches lol. Just played it safe.

Damn the ol lady just called all sad that out 14 year old labrador killed a skunk that got too close. Guess the old boy still has some Dexter in him. She is sad because yesterday she called me and said there is the coolest looking skunk that had an uncommon white pattern and doing the Pepe Le Pugh spring bounce step frolicing around our yard. Guess old Sequoia got in ambush mode and waited for the cover of night to spring in to geriatric action like Bubba Hotep. Old boy takes like half a minute to stand up from arthritis so that skunk wasn't very stealthy for a wild animal.

I think that was the "Bobby Comes Out" episode.
Bobby is up to something...

Get really familiar with some Dial Soap. The skunk stink is glandular with means its fatty / hydrophobic in composition. The grease fighting action of the soap will help emulsify the stink and get it off. Be prepared the stink tends to "re-ignite" when it comes in contact with water due to this also. Additionally you can rinse him with a mix of baking soda and peroxide to help absorb and neutralize it too. 1-2 baths a day, and he'll smell like usual in a few weeks-couple of months.

We added baking soda and peroxide to some oil cutting dish soap. Almost made a paste out of it. Worked it in our dog's fur, then scrubbed it out. It does take a few goes, and time, but it gets the stink out.
