Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

My wife's friend had a boa. She raised it until it was around 8 feet or so, long. She used to take it out and lay with it and just let it chill. One day it stopped eating. The girl started to get worried because by now, it was off its feeding schedule. She took it to the vet. The veterinarian said, good thing you brought it in. The snake was sizing you up. It was going to eat you, or try to... Brrrrrrrrrrrr. Gives me the heeby jeebies

Rabbit feeding sounds crazy. You'd need like a whole pet setup to feed your real pet.
I can imagine going on Craigslist for rabbits you wouldn't mention they were intended for food or people might be hesitant to give them to you.

Oh man but my Ornate uromastyx lizards are the cutest things ever, well all uros are, they have beer bellies. The lizard that gave me the reptile bug. They are desert dwelling vegetarians and super easy to keep and chill too. I would still only have reptiles if it wasn't for my girlfriend. I love the furry stuff but I think the reptiles are easier pets IMO.

I had a four foot rhino rock iguana that was my dog. every night after work I would feed him, then let him out of his large dog crate to use the bathroom in the shower, then let him run around the house, and he had his favorite recliner. Then he would sleep next to me on the sofa while I watched tv. I cried like a baby when he died even though he lived a full iggy life. I would rather him over any dog and I love dogs. I have a cuban rock iguana that is cool but not as cool as ol' Rocky was.

They sell frozen rabbits online, but sometimes more exotic snakes can be picky eaters. They crave bloooooood.

I couldn't do rabbits because when they die, the scream sounds like a young girl being axed to death. It's brutal.

Uros are cool. I like skinks and would kill for a knob tailed gecko or Ackie monitor. But I learned my lesson with my beardie. Lizards and things that need veggies or live bait are to much for me. I like something I can feed and forget about for a couple weeks.
