That is one thing about MI, we have no shortage of trails. Hell the roads are bad enough that off road suspension is sometimes needed.

For sure. We were our own worst competitor. The car was fast and the driver was good, we were just barely holding it together though.

It kind of stung because a lot of the competition was really stupid - literally - very dumb.

We saw one guy that had pulled his back bumper, removed the bumper shocks, then tack welded the bumper back on. We saw it before the race and exchanged a "WOW" look. 3rd or 4th lap the guy took a moderate hit from behind - nothing too crazy - instantly accordioned the back 1/3rd of the car, which ruptured the gas tank and the whole thing went up in flames. Car was totaled, bumper shocks would have saved it. Don't know what the guy thought he was accomplishing by removing those - there's other ways to remove weight.

NEPA was like that growing up, there was a trail two houses past me on the dead end road I grew up on.
That also reminds me of potholes. Anyone see that artist in England I think it was drawing penises around potholes so they would fix them, clever.

I need to contact the guy who cut my red Pearl pickguard in austin. He had a source for white switches and a wiring schematic that added series parallel and stuff to it. Most likely I'll order the wiring parts, Mexican trem (for screw in arm) and staytrem bridge then give it all to him and have him wire it and set it up, defeatable foam mute etc. also.

Then I can do anything from bright and twangy to Motown or dub tone, and whammy once again!

Needing some Stoner Doom to work too. At one point I heard (youtube) an instrumental Stone-Doom-Drone-Psychedelic band that had very good driving/primal bass lines. I forgot to write it down so I can't remember who it was. It was while I was listening to Novadriver, Electric Moon, Stoned Jesus, Asteroid, Color Haze and stuff like that.
Any suggestions? Youtube links help because I'm just that lazy....

OK, Completely different genre' but Nouvelle Vague - Too Drunk to F***. Done Nouveau French Lounge style. Did I just make up a genre'??

no more rattle and overall just a better piece than the garbage stock one. The Labella flats I put on were a big help as well.

Favorite would be neck solo'd. But ive found so many tones olaying around with different combos. Middle and bridge pup sounds good. i never use the strangle switch though so thats why i was thinking a built in boost would be cool. Cause i find the pups to be a bit on the low side of output sometimes.

When im at home just playing around i normally use a pick, but for VEGA im going to stick with fingers, but that doesnt mean i wont use my fingers like a pick...

They look sharp when I see them at GC and Sam Ash but every time I play something with P90's I feel I am slowly stabbing a pig as the treble is so harsh IMO.

He got into spray finishing recently, he used to always do wipe on finishes. He did a gloss black refinish of a guitar he built for someone that was some kind of red stain before and I commented to him how much I loved the look of it when it was still satin black. So he offered to lay down a satin black finish on my pine P bass body when I told him I was stripping it down. As kind of a thank you for giving him a full refund on some wood he bought from my father that ended up being a dud. He's already put way more effort into it than I expected, he sealed the body with epoxy before spraying the color coats. I love the way it looks so far. I'm going to put a black pickguard and maple board neck on it.
