Leela ate a piece of dead bird wing road jerky. Will she be ok?
Yeah but be on puke warning, lost two Akai Headrush pedals due to one of my dogs pretending to be a vulture.
FuqN awesome. Love the fully para mid.I guess Orange got tired of folks like JohnK building Orange preamp pedals:

FuqN awesome. Love the fully para mid.
Wondering if it cuts bass too much for bass use.
I bet even if it had a very strong hi pass it would still sound good. But I used the Ormat side of the pre for mid cut n grind.
Though as cool as that pedal is, If it isn't Ormat or like the newer FMV is it even really an orange? Looks more like an SVT pre than the sansamp.
I hate trying to use e-drums in any type of jam situation, the weird double-trigger events, the no-trigger events and the CLACK CLACK THWAP of the pads overpowering the amp/pa that's amplifying the drums made it really hard to focus on the music.
For solo practice I think they're the next best thing to having a real kit.
I am wiped after this weekend. Too much whiskey.![]()
Crossover fried in my 1820 cab at prac last night, but thing is...I dont miss those 10s too much, had to plug into the just 18, sounded massive.
So who here thinks I should stuff my 800 Booster amp into the area the 10s were? I will need to trim about an inch off of the face and back of the booster to fit it but then ill have a space saving cube of DOOM.
Don't know if anyone remembers the Sunn cabinet I asked about a while back. It looked like an 18" to me, but I basically confirmed with the group that there's no such thing. So I ordered and received a new BW 15" to replace with. last night I finally got around to spinning the nuts to get the dead driver out...

... and it's an 18". The cabinet has been hacked, and the baffle hole cut bigger to accommodate an 18" driver.
Not sure what to do at this point.
Why is that?Guitarists use power soaks, but I would never recommend using one for bass.
Got my pine P bass body back, with a smooth satin black finish on it. I've got all the other parts ready, just have to find some time to get it all together.

Pardon my greasy fingerprints, I had pizza for lunch.
Hot hot! Love the satin sort of matte finish. Don't see that often enough IMO.
Do you know what pickup yet?
*cough GZR cough*
Rosewood or maple?
Must...know...plans...
Dimarzio Model P pickup, maple board. My favorite pickup with my favorite color combo (well, tied with 3TSB/Black/Maple, which is what my Carvin is).
I did a dry fit of the parts a few minutes ago.
