Not a tent but I really enjoy Hammocks for camping. Enos makes parachute ones that fit into a bag not much bigger than your 2 fists.
That's the approach I'm considering. Found this light tarp that stuffs into a little bag and should probably get one, as it just sounds handy regardless.
I like the idea, but not everywhere here has the trees needed. I'd totally get a small one like that though as its like enough to use if the opportunities there.

Its in great looking condition, Its scratchy as hell and no reverb or tremelo, probably need the footswitch to turn those on? But besides all that, it sounds muy bueno. Clean to full out SS fuzz grind.
Gave it a quick work out to see if it worked and how it sounded, but no more playing out of this museum piece, itll sit comfortably in my window being its No.1 self, perched right above my Vulcan, my 2 rare birds.
Recorded a song for my TGWN project with it so you can hear it...first dirty part is a muff in front if it, the later one is just the amp dimed.
Usnea and UFOMAMMUT were amazeballs last night. To be honest I think Usnea stole the show for me, was totally not expecting their crushing dank tone...what I listened to online of them did not do it justice at all. Was kinda bitter sweet going to the show though, I wish I had been playing in it not just there to see it. It was nice to not have to worry about loading in or out, I could just enjoy the dank tone and copious amounts of riffage.

I think a black hole opened up over Cudahy last night, from the sheer density of heaviness coming from UFOMAMMUT's amplifiers. Awesome show.

Holy crap! Just finished a marathon day. I spent 12 hours with my dad building/improving my band practice room. Built a wall to enclose it (it was previously part of the "storage area") and to deaden sound so for the wife/neighbors, hung drywall, replaced a single lightbulb on a pullchain to two fluorescent lights on a switch, added two more outlet boxes (4 outlets), insulated for more sound proof-ness, and I think that's all. For today. Freaking awesome! The last two days I've spent 20 hrs on it. Gonna finish up some more tomorrow. Stoked!
I'd be curious to know if your amps become more noisy after the switch to fluorescent lights.
Yep, first thing I thought of - you're probably going to get noise from the fluorescent lights.
The Rush show on Friday was great. Plenty of deep cuts. Plus, the double necks came out! Seats were pretty good, sound was decent for an arena. Beer prices had to be some of the highest in the galaxy.
I can't believe what they charge for a 16oz can of bud light at big shows these days. Ten shaging dollars at the Judas Priest show. Even more if you wanted something that wasn't absolute garbage. At that point I'd rather not drink at all. Why pay out the ass for 1-2 beers then have to stop because you don't want to spend half your paycheck of sh*tty beer.

Saw Descendents a few years back. Played a bigger hall in Denver. 16 oz PBR was $10.
The answer is simple...heavy metal tailgater.
Have to pre game. Only solution.
For $10 at my favorite bar, I can get two 60oz pitchers of beer, and that includes the tip.

I'm sure it has become a thing, somewhere. Probably at big concerts in arenas and stuff like that. Kind of hard to do at small clubs. I imagine midwest and east coast heavy metal fans going to big concerts having a seamless transition from football games. Maybe a Crowbar show at the smallest.
