I have NO problem with cheap beer. Last time I bought, I got some of that Oculto. Someone here recommended it. Cheap but good. Like it over Corona, which it is similar to.

I can't find much about them online. Saw a 300w 210 at a local shop but didn't try it out yet.
Just a cheap combo amp...may be sub-Behringer quality-wise. Can't find much info...

sold the dr q today, going to go see mad max fury road in about an hour, pretty much set with the LB100 into the rat tail for the d180, hoping to get a lesson or jam in this weekend, maybe i'll hit up some of the neighbors, they're all pro musicians surprisingly

Yeah the Slash graphic is well a Slash graphic but he helped design it so oh well. The second switch is for the octave up mode not the octave down.
A cursory search finds them in stock at GC, MF, and Reverb. All $150 new. Maybe they weren't discontinued?
Yeah, that was Dennis Kager's company, he worked for Ampeg a long time, was an in demand amp tech. I don't really know all that much about the actual amps though.
Still trying to search up more info. Sounds to me like they used to be reputable and well thought of, then the company folded some years back.
Seems like some Asian concern may have bought the name and are now producing Sundown amps again, but of much lower quality.
The only stuff I see about the brand are ten year old threads on different forums.
I will have to try this thing out. But while I am a big fan of cheap basses if they are decent, I never felt that okay cheaping out on amps.
Who knows...maybe it won't be that bad. Need to stay under $200 and I doubt I'll find anything giggable for that, even used.
If this Sundown is at all passable, one of the good points is that I could pay it off slowly.
Finally got the last piece of the puzzle in for my doom rig. Just started this project and I can't wait to record it and see what you guys think!
I have the heavy 70's dvd ripped, if anyone wants the hard copy hit me up. I don't remember who wanted it but their is that digital version now too. Also thanks for the "old school tape trade" Matt and Sam. Jammed it a bit in my car and it's pretty cool stuff.
We have arrived. Can't believe I'm actually going to see UFOMAMMT. never thought they'd tour the states.
Can't bath leela for the whole two weeks of healing... She smelled fine until I picked her up from the vet. She smells like sterilized animal sadness which is how the vet office smelled.
Reworking my backpack/camping setup still. Anyone know any cheap super compact tents/bivys/shelters let me know. I have a 1.5 person tent but it's rather bulky in dimension.
It's a very light setup. Part DIY and also kind of an "art piece" for lack of better description. Basically I hate the look of "sports/outdoorsy/activity" stuff, bright neon flashy colors and camo aren't my thing. So simple earthy colors, or just not loud colors. I'll post pics later to see if ideas of what I could do or should get.

Who needs a tent? I'm the "crazy guy" in my group, we've camped many times, and I often just use a tarp rolled around my sleeping bag so it doesn't get dew on it. It works quite well for me...

Most of my friends do that too. Our gear is mostly military or tacticool, though.
