Would have be and in out free procedure, but she had to be a crazy bucking Bronco. Managed to break her metal ID chain link , remove a muzzle without her paws and jump off a 4' exam table. So a cocktail of downers and uppers for $50... So she got to pretend to be River Phoenix for a half hour and I got to pay her tab.
Turns out she's lost half a pound over the last month. So vet says its usual, but she is probablyfull grown as of nearly a month ago... Fun Sized!

Source Audio BEF. I have the basic version, but it's still more filter than I'd ever conceivably need.
That will probably be fine. One posted recently in the classifieds for $75. When I was searching, they were more expensive for some reason. Actually, my favorite setting on the SA BEF is the MXR BEF emulation.
I remember some Charvel model that looked uncharacteristically surfish with lipstick pickups...kinda reminded me of the body style of the old Ibanez Talmans.
EHX always my fave for guitar at least.
Turns out I have a severe upper respiratory infection. Was half the day at clinic. Two antibiotics.
Deal with my boss: she had my job as Youth Services Director for ten yrs before becoming library director a few months before I was hired.
She's 52, never married, cat lady. She gave me free reign to run the department the way I want, and I have ample experience.
Even so, I run ideas and plans by her. She acts excited and approves my work, but then will call and email me incessantly wanting changes after kids and parents know what programs will consist of, after items she has approved have already been ordered, etc.
It's as if she's trying to gaslight me, but definitely wants to make it impossible for me to do my job.
She told me outright she also hired me to be the library spokesperson because she detests speaking with or dealing with adults.
In my observations, she doesn't interact with children any better and she admittedly "cannot stand" teenagers.
There are other issues as well. She has given me two very positive evaluations, but also a letter stating she may take action to terminate me next month.
I pro-actively surveyed kids and adults who attend the programs I do and the responses and comments are overwhelmingly positive.
I've had many parents and day care folks tell me how much things have improved since I took over and that their kids didn't like coming when my boss was doing it because she was so stiff and sour and the kids had no fun and were intimidated.
Her boss is the City Manager. I think I will take all this documentation to him and copies of emails and texts and discuss it all with him. I don't know him well but he seems reasonable and I think he should be made aware.

In related news, I did NOT get the job in Mesa. Bummered.

Good luck with the bosslady dealings mudd. I hate it when stupid petty crap like that gets in the way. I'm sure you know this, but don't say anything negative about your boss to her boss. Even if he agrees with you it's still bad form. You don't want to come off like a complainer. I'd just tell him that you're concerned over the threatened termination. Say that you're not in it for the money, but you just really enjoy working with the kids, helping them learn to love reading, all that good stuff. If he decides to take action as a result of your meeting you'll likely have to sit in a room with him and bosslady, going over your complaints. If she's made to feel bad about her personality or performance she will go on the defensive and ratchet up the antagonism. That poopie is awkward. I've been in similar situations and wish i had handled things differently. Take the high road, be the bigger person and you may avoid an even poopier work situation in the future.
The tired part I could not afford and didn't go. Had two calls about systems down in New Jersey and was skeptical about being wiped out.
Regardless I as just about to walk out the door until mapping the route. 1hour and 45min drive would have turned into 2.5 hours just getting there with two accidents in my path.

Spent the evening on new riffs and setlist songs. We have a couple back to back practice days before the show. New set list with a couple songs back to back.

VFE Mini Mu has been a keeper. I've tried the Proton, Groove Regulator, Super Fatman and deluxe xerograph. Super Fatman was a close second. the volume/gain control on the VFE puts it over the top for me. only way i can make the filter be really heard in a mix.
My guitar player in MDT has a Mini Mu, will borrow it. Tnx for jogging my memory.
Does it hold low end?
EHX Q-tron, Dr. Q, etc. any good?
So my pedal board plans exceed my current power adapters limits. As far as I'm aware I'll need five 9v slots (assuming the VP Jr is passive, and the fact the korg can power another pedal) and one 18v. My current voodoo labs does 4 9v and one 18v...

I was going to say MXR BEF. I had one and loved the **** out of it. Only sold it to fund other stuff when I wasn't using it. It sounds awesome with fuzz going into it.
I'd like to try the SA but never regained motivation. MXR had me.
Get a daisy chain power cable from visual sound and plug it into one of your 9V outlets. Should be enough current to run a couple of dirt pedals just fine. Or plug it in to your tuner, that should have enough current to power multiple pedals. I run 7-8 off of my snark pedal tuner.
I put a bid in on that Peavey 400 that was posted in the pvy cvlt facepage from goodwill. Was listed as missing a knob and untested. I am paying 51 bones. Hopefully it works. I am not sure if I will keep it or flip it. What do you think it could go for @mc_muench? Maybe $100 via local CL or do you think I could squeeze $150 out of it?

no issues with low end, but i had Peter at VFE mod mod mine so that the range selector switch started lower and went lower than stock. that made it a little more useful in bass bit stock is fine as well. also the older Mini Mus had very touchy sensitivity. the slightest change in input had a big effect on the filter. the newer ones are easier to use.
i tried the q-tron at a store once. i don't recall it being anything special.
Had the Micro Q-Tron, it sucked.
I love Bassballs, though. I know it's probably the least versatile envelope filter in existence and pretty much a one trick pony, but it works for me.

Also: tracking shows that my Abominable Electronics Don't Shred On Me cleared customs and should arrive at my place later today.
