Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

@Muddslide I would just keep the documents where she threatened you and not bother the higher ups yet. She might just be trying to scare you for some idiotic reason. You have the documents if she tries to push it farther. Since you are looking for other jobs anyway maybe some in one ear and out the other with her as long as you are doing your job and not disobeying her. Jobs suck enough, then to deal with a chunt like that is just awful. Keep interviewing and get the heck out of there.
I feel you on the job thing, I didn't even get an interview for the Vegas gig since 80 effen people applied LOL.

I used to have the OG big box Qtron, I miss it except for the stupid power adapter that it used. I think now I could use the 12v spot on my power supply though.

It was really cool, and you could dial in a lot of different ways. I know Al doesn't use a filter for his tones, but it got me a close enough facsimile to dragonaut I couldn't tell.

If I was gonna revisit it, I'd look at the newer Qtron+ as it has A slow/fast dial and a forward or reverse filter switch which alone doubled its abilities over all the predecessors. Also it 9v

Well the DSOM is at its new home.

It's not going to change the world, but it's a really cool RAT clone, very little low end loss, definitely better than my previous Chinese Little Bear. It's a keeper.

I've had a '77 doctor Q since like 2002 and it has never been dethroned. Breifly by the MXR BEF but didn't last long. The Dr. Q just reacts like I think a filter should.

How's the Hoof? Gritty? Buzzy? Muffy?

I appreciate everyone's thoughts about my boss/job and have heeded them as sound advice. I just don't understand why I am being put in this position. I have worked my tail off--even when seriously ill--and shown my dedication, quality of work, had excellent feedback and not even really butted heads with or been reprimanded by my boss for any specific thing.

It'd be one thing if I thought there was a real reason behind it--some failing of my own or some instance in which I'd been less than professional or had a real conflict with her, but I search my mind and come up empty.

It's a threat to my entire family, should I lose this job. And we all know it's a lot harder to find a job if you are OUT of one when you are looking.

Just keeping my nose to the grindstone, collecting ammo against her should I need it, applying like crazy and doing my work best I can. Can't do anything else.

Unless something major happens one way or t'other, I'm leaving this subject alone so as not to bore everyone. When I know anything solid, I'll mention it.

Thanks again.

Just received pictures of my Megalith clone. I didn't choose the graphics, but the name is kinda cool. It should be ready in a day or two. Stoked.
I'm not really into clones, but I made an exception for this one. It's as expensive as my guitar, so I figured I need to try it out before I get broke to buy a real one.

You'll dig it. More Heavy means MORE HEAVY.
