I heard the Terminal Fuzz on a recent Fuzz Wars episode and it sounded pretty good. I dunno why, but I always think of EQD more for modulation & delay than dirt.

I heard the Terminal Fuzz on a recent Fuzz Wars episode and it sounded pretty good. I dunno why, but I always think of EQD more for modulation & delay than dirt.
Finally getting a guitar center in town... Not that I really go but cool.
Though I've listened to a lot of videos and read a lot of reviews and I think I want a squier VM mustang guitar. So I need to go play one and confirm that. Jaguar tempts me, but it's so similar to my bass vi I figure go for something different. Between the phase switches and weird hyperactive wammy I am interested. Gotta flip or trade for it though, need to be rid of the excess that's building up faster and faster as every trade these days seems to equal me losing one item and gaining 2-3.
Long term thanks to @The_Janitor and his daisy chain concept I was too dumb to realize I can do more cheaper than I realized in terms of pedals so very excited.

Woohoo! I haven't felt the need to go to a full blown power supply, not having any noise issues or anything. I just never wanted to drop a hundred bucks on a power supply.
Got mine for like $45 I think from a guy living in what you would politely call a "four season gazebo". The 12v and 18v options were cool at the time then I got a lot of planned 9v and thought it was a wasted buy and I'd have to sink in a massive one. I wondered why no one shared my issue and glad I asked.
Good lord went to the mall where my display is located. I currently signed up to be the owner of both and got a business tax ID. My friend is paying me cash half the rent in exchange for half of the square footage. I already made a $20 sale, so at least rent is secured for a couple weeks on my end.
He got excited and asked if I'd go down and see what all sold. So I get down there and holy cow, he's selling gabage at insane prices. Like out of the box action figures he's clearly played with as a kid sold as $15.00 collectors items. Records I saw him buy for a $0.25 for $20.00 and clearly used DVDs and mini statues for $10.00-$30.00!
I have all my DVDs at $0.50 so it makes me look rather schizophrenic lol. I assume/hope he'll not make any sales and give up and I can take full control. Also if I get full control the upper display case has no ceiling so I can fit three guitars/basses in there I think and pedals on the bottom. Then have room for 2-6 more shelves below. All locked so no crazy touching.

So you're just selling whatever? Sounds intriguing. How's that work? Got your number in the window or something? (And yes, this may be a thinly veiled attempt at getting your number. I'm so darn shy!)
Basically a guy owns the storefront down town on the square and sells areas of the store space on a week to week basis. I have two display cases up front by the door. $10 for the top one, $7 for the bottom, I pay $16 because I got both, but split two ways. You can leave specific instructions on like discounts, but I kept it basic. They take a 5% fee upfront, 4% more for credit. Cash purchases can be cashed out as soon as you ask if your rent is not outstanding. Credit sales are compiled and cashed out monthly.
There's three way overpriced music shops in the 1-3 block radius and within the mall it's all cheap stuff with massive markups. So since I'm constantly flipping stuff on Craigslist, I can also put it in there and get physical views of it and I'll post a site of some sort to link my craigslist ads. Then people can contact me and I can run out and deliver items I had listed but not present. I'm selling 50/50 music and miscellany just because I want the miscellany out of my house.
For $30 a week I could get a tri fold diarama room each of the stree walls appears to be a 8'x8' sheet of plywood. Year wait, and I'd want to install my own locked display cases of I did so that would require capital or some trading/free listing.

I've thought of getting rid of my Daddy-O and Fab Tone now that I have other Danos I prefer for those slots, but with how cheaply they go, I'd rather just keep them. Might eventually make an all Dano secondary board. Especially now that my Dan Echo is on my bass board and piquing my bass delay interest. It sounds good, but degrades the delays a bit faster than I'd like. I'm try my Echo Puss on it next and see where it gets me. Never thought I'd use delay on bass, but now that I have a bit, I'm really enjoying it.Also found a Weeping Demon local for a good deal. Might have to pick it up and do some manual filter style tones if it's still available in a few days when I have time.
Also, wish me luck. The drummer is coming by tomorrow to get his stuff, as well as everyone else to settle the PA accounts. Let's hope it goes well, though the drummer's the only one I'm worried about. Already got everyone but a drummer for the next band, actually! Get a mic stand and a drummer and I'm ready to go again!

Currently I'm getting by with just the bass vi > roadmaster > dually. If I had a one button foot switch I'd be golden for now.
Getting an HM-2 this week as the guys finally back in town. Then begins the process of acquiring a Dunlop TS-1 tremolo, Stereo memory man w/ hazarai and a cathedral. Don't want to spend much, prefer a trade, but either way I have to make a lot of space before I allow myself to get more personal gear.
Then if I can get a cheap tuner pedal and daisy chain I'll make a tuner>bad stone>UD setup.
Still need to wire up the blue beard with tonal bypass and put it in the house I drilled for it it'll be parallel with the HM-2 on the stereo board. Also find a way to rehouse the bad stone and turn the cocked was manual switch into a stomp switch. With that I can go from syrupy phase rhythm to nasally lead tone quickly.

At the very least you have to respect these guys. 20+ years with the same lineup, no bvllshvt, no gimmicks just straight up rock. they did it their way and stuck to their guns and they still achieved relatively mainstream success. their live shows aren't as intense as they used to be be at their peak but that is bound to happen with age.

You know, I was never really a Clutch fan until I saw them about 2 years ago. Blew me away live. Every time I hear them, I think to myself, "Why aren't they in the rotation more!" Still need to fix that issue!
Jam Room is my favorite.

Must have seen them at least a dozen times. They're always great live, but i much prefer it when they stretch out and jam, rather than play all of their heaviest stuff. Lately it seems like one or the other, and the last three times i saw them it was full-on meathead rawk party. Where's the funky mellower Clutch of years gone by? The world I growed up in is gone.
Workmanlike practice last night. Tried jamming some E stuff in Eb. The change helps the old pipes, but it'll take some getting used to. Can't downtune everything, though, some songs just seem wrong a half step down. Also made some progress on a new tune.
