the problem is that it's a chinese amp...so it's metric. when it comes to stuff like this metric is hard to find here. found some online, don't ship to Canada but Laz is gonna get'em for me and forward over. all good!

The problem with this dream guitar is I don't play enough guitar to really justify an American fender or warmoth even. Does your guy do finish work or just build?
In other news sold even more at the display case, restocked a bit. Friend asked me what sold on his end lol... told him nothing of his and that he's charging too much. He didn't appreciate that at all, but I think after paying rent weekly on stagnant wares will wear on him soon enough. which I paid for both of us so he owes all the rent next week or I'm gonna remove him and rebuild the unit to fit my stuff better.
In other other news officially took 5 respectably sized dumps today. My butthole caught fire around round 2, and continues to smolder.

Well, just finalized all previous band stuff. As they left, they told me that they didn't want to work with bad keyboardist either. WHAT?!? After how many times I tried to tell him he was our #1 issue? Oh well, if that's how it's gonna be, I'll be better off with others.
Speaking of which, next week starts the new band. All we need is a drummer and we'll have a good start.

Well ya know I didn't get the job in Mesa, but I have another interview coming up next Wednesday for an even better job in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

I don't know many chord shapes, mostly do power chords. They all sound heavy on the bass vi, but most bass vi vids are very clean light airy spacey chording I don't seem to be able to get. Any suggestions for online resources of what I'm talking about makes sense? Part of its no doubt the fact I'm using a octave down guitar into a jcm 800 clone no doubt though.
I blew both front ones out, the warranty covers it but they claim only ones hurt so gotta argue it up eventually.

Did some jamming with the second pedalboard last night. Blower Box > Rainbow Machine = screaming pitch shifting delay feedback. Going to try the Volt Thrower tonight with band jam, too.
Well, yesterday's practice was surprisingly awesome, everything worked and we actually started to make two new songs. One's going to be a bit more psychedelic than usual, the other is just a heavy monotonous jam.
Funny story, though. Everything started with the jam when I found a 2mm Dunlop pick on my amp that some other bassist left. Then, when we were in the part of our practice when we brainstorm and try out new riffs, our drummer started this beat out of boredom. Then I took the pick, turned on the DSOM and started to strum power chords on bass, a riff that we've played a few times but didn't seem to fit anywhere. Then the guitarist joined in playing some psych stuff with his wah and all of a sudden everything clicked together. Next thing we know, we've got 16 minutes of recorded jam!
It all glued so well we'll be developing it into a full fledged track.
Today, the guitarist came up with an idea to put some spoken samples in there and it really fits.
Seems like that whole recording our first demo EP business is way closer than I thought all of a sudden.

Whatup dudes. Had my yearly physical this morning- I've dropped 18 pounds since my health screen two months ago. Not too shabby.
Yeah, slim-to-none carbs, no sugar (some fruit), no saturated fats, very little alcohol, exercise.
Got the tape deck and mixer setup with two mics just to see if it works. Just me playing drums for 2 min but it works, my friend manned the station. Next is clean up better in there and get the reel to reels both working, and the MacBook with garage band setup. Then we can record anyway we wish.
