Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Got the donner delay pedal for $25. Nice packaging for a $30.99 prime shipped pedal. Tryouts after work. It's a clone of a Mooer echolizer that's a digital clone of a maxon AD999?

I have had piss poor sales luck though as of late. The best offers received on anything was 500 shipped for my G&L and a 15w fender modeling combo for my DL4. People of STL are a little tight with their coin at the moment, I guess.

I've had a hell of a time selling anything this year. A couple things went fast, but some gear that I expected to disappear in no time sat around for months at really competitive prices. I still have one guitar I've had up for sale a bunch of places over a month. I'm considering just keeping it now that our insurance claim got settled and my bills are paid off.

Dammit it's hard to keep pedal GAS down when you come to this thread.

I keep thinking all I want or need is a nice fuzz, but then there are approximately 86 bajillon of those. Now I keep thinking about a chorus, or octave pedal, or delay, or even wah. Argh!
I feel you. I currently want a nice envelope filter. The SA is starting to bug me how it just kills the volume when I use it with the Supercollider. Might have to go MXR BEF, or some other filter that doesn't kill the volume. Also, looking at upgrading to a better delay. We'll see. It all depends how my Supercollider sounds in the mix, which I'll know tomorrow night!

That's kind of where I'm at with my SB2. I need to sell it to hack away at my small but glaring debt, but I paid $750(still a great deal) and put another $75 into a new nut. It's hard to swallow a $250-300 hit on a used instrument that was bought at a great price. No love on TB, reverb or CL. Oh well. It never hurts to have it in the arsenal, but **** paying off some debt sounds tasty.

I have that DL 4. Haha.

Yeah, I've had that guitar up on Reverb, CL, ILF and some FB groups for over a month. I got it at a good price, I'm selling it at a good price, tons of compliments and "what a deal!" comments, but no buyers. I might keep it just because no one is buying it and lowering the price more would be stupid, it's currently the lowest price for similar models online and in the best shape (not modded/hacked up). It's a cool guitar, I love the look of it, but I just didn't bond with it and as it's all original and vintage it seems a shame to mod it to make it sound different. I even put it up for trades, I don't even really need the money anymore, I just don't play it.
