selling off some new athletic shoes i got as a gift on ebay and waiting on a freelance job check, cause my business partner spent the money on leasing her new to her hybrid car, got the druid fuzz going, i like it most with the sb-2 strung with la bellas, it's doing the deep aggro crunch static thing i like so much, our drummer and art consultant are trying to get us a show in NY, people usually book us when they see the girls in bikinis, but not when they hear the sludged up cell phone demos, going to invest in some more boss adapters so i can try navigating the mysterious world of connecting fuzz, od, and distortion together in some order, rather than just slamming whatever i'm playing with the vintage L2000

@The_Janitor or other pedal savvy people

Found this site of confirmed pedal layouts as detailed in the image. They look easy enough (some of them) but I can't tell from the diagrams what solders to what. Is there something I need to know to read that from the diagram? Different diagram needed?

Also what are cuts as I can't see what they are talking about.

Thanks! Delay is my least necessary effect right now.
Here's my current priority:
1. Get my dirt right. I've got my B3K right, but it needs clean GK running. So what's left is this: GK Rails Pedal before or after Supercollider? This will determine a few other minor things on my board which are mostly just housekeeping, so no discussion on those needed.
2. Figure out if I want another envelope filter. Currently thinking MXR, but really just want something that doesn't drop volume. Suggestions?
3. Get a new/different delay. Current Dan-Echo is so great at its purpose (old-school delay) that the signal decays so well it doesn't keep the tone I want for my repeats. It's a great delay for what it was made for, but I'm currently thinking of getting another Echo-Puss (or at least borrowing my current one from the guitar board for a bit!).

That's about it here, except for my guitar board. That's another story...

I have sometimes as many as three guitars, or two guitars and keys to keep up with. Hasn't been a problem so far, even outside. Of course I also have one of the ugliest, most annoying tones imaginable, so there's also that.

I don't have much pedal gas for fuzz. I get my overdrive from my amp, and what I want to do is get a custom fuzz that sorta combines things I like about the Big Muff and Swollen Pickle, and ditches things I don't like about them. I've thought about getting a phaser, or maybe an octaver. Probably will get one if the guitarist who likes tuning really really low goes any lower.

It's been a while since i did anything on veroboard but the yellowish horizontal bars are your conductive material. Cuts under ______ just means that you cut the conductive trace at those spots. For more specific instructions you can ask around at freestompboxes.org. just post that diagram and people there will be able to help.

Thanks I'll sniff around more and try a Dallas rangemaster.

What really got me curious was that Cicada fuzz. The tremolo/fuzz pair seems pretty cool. So I looked up the fat fuzz factory vero, and a simple trem circuit like on fender amps with an added depth knob. Also found a diagram on how to wire two circuits together so you can foot switch them both on independently or together. My idea would be basically build each design learn it. Then build again as one unit.

Been looking for an MXR BEF myself and been striking out. Seems to be a hot commodity lately.

Eh, I don't know about that. I see them used pretty often, but I'm trying to focus on dirt first, and also don't have tons of money to spend. Hoping to find a deal or something, or at least get dirt solved then sell/trade some stuff to get some funds for an envelope filter and delay. But DIRT FIRST! (I think I have it solved, but will know tomorrow at practice. Wish me luck!)

I've had a few near misses on cheap ones. Not looking to pay more than $85-90. Gimme a heads up if you see one...;)

And, yes, dirt is first, second & third.

Why not just get your basic dirt from the amp?

I've got a jmk blue warbler 2 PCB that is partially populated that I was going to do the same thing with. Build the trem, test it with fuzz and then rebuild both circuits into one case. I want the fuzz to be all bass for the most part, so when the trem pulses it is just a loud low pulsating synth buzz.

****. I have this employee who was complaining about the speed of another of my guys to the supervisor of another shift. That supervisor extended that to my boss. He and I decided that the slow guy, who excels at packing, should only have to sheet(flatten out) his pizzas so he can start packing faster. To make this possible employee 1 has to mix the dough and shape it into rounds. Shaping would take guy 1 maybe 20 minutes and guy 2 an hour or more. Guy 1 is refusing to do the work claiming its to much. This same guy refused to finish work the other day because he was done packing his bread and no one helps him, so he shouldn't have to help the rest of the team. What he is failing to consider is that he never has to clean up our mixing area, or any machines other than the one he primarily uses. He never takes his trash out after production, only his packing trash, and 90% of the time if his bread has to be cases up, I do it for him.

Another thing he is failing to consider is that no one helps him pack because everyone else is still making bread while he packs. He and guy 2 are responsible for 2 products each and he has been vocal about only wishing to do the buns he is responsible for. Everyone else is responsible for 5-6 products, so generally we are producing for 6-9hours before we can help pack. It's a balance, more production is less packing, and less production is more packing.

The best part, I have to have another supervisor translate because my name is the extent of this guys anglais.

Sorry to rant, but **** this is frustrating. I get little to no sleep and this culero has me awake for hours before my shift texting me about how he refuses to do the assigned work. This is a grown ass man, 44 I believe. I'm 27 and will do whatever it takes to get the job done(and I don't expect that attitude in equal measure from everyone) but I really dislike having to shepard people almost 20 years older than me like children. It's ********. Pinche culero.
