Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Posted this to Rigs of Doom FB page, but it seems they don't agree...
So you guys may like it.
I'll probably never play this config live anyhow. Nice to have a Q10BX-D back in house. Have been using it solo at the studio and it's keeping up well with the Carvin HD1500 Bridged. Only bummer is using bannana connectors but I can get over that.

Let me know if you find any good wah settings, specifically ones that have a good "quack" and don't drop volume. Before I spend more $, I'm gonna re-try my BSW and iStomp version of the FX25B. Might pickup the actual FX25B if I can get rid of some stuff first.

On the topic of harming rather harmless things I guess. Never go on the /b/ section of 4chan. Aside from the countless nudes, rule 34 threads, transexuals, and child porn, there was one thing in particular that made me cringe and get extremely angry at the same time. There was a guy, who had strapped a dog to a table, and was having sex with said dog.

Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. I truly am sad that the human race can go so low sometimes.

4chan is and always has been terrible.

Nothing wrong with transexuals, though.

Dude who was raping a dog deserves to get hit by a truck or something. I hate people who torture animals.

@Pelham Bleu you ever find a setting on the BSW that doesn't have the "quack" at the very moment of string fretting? I'm really digging the sound I'm getting right now, but that insta-quack is a bit bothersome. Gonna A/B between the BSW and SA BEF now that I have them both at the front of the chain. Never put them there before, but I'm liking the results thus far. Testing to continue...

A guy who is an old friend of.mine and has done a lot of album covers for pretty big bands years ago sent me a video file, maybe 30 seconds long, of what looked like a snuff flick. Dunno if it was real or not, but it sure looked authentic.

I got pretty pissed and told him I absolutely did not want to see chit like that or have it sent to my computer and he acted like I was some milquetoast, like not hardcore or cool enough. Really bothered me.

Anyone using Dunlop Super Bright Stainless or Nickle? Also wondering what the difference with the Marcus Miller sets are. Basstrinsonline is having a sale on them and was eyeballing these already.
The D'Addario EXP have been holding up ok for me but curious how these would work out. I have one last set of Kalium .124 balanced set and after those I'm out of new strings.
The .118 Kalim for sure don't feel right on my 35" scale Gecko. Figured I'd try the Dunlops on that bass and the ATK to see how I like em. Shame they don't have an option to go up to .130 on these.
