Thing about that is to just keep playing through it. Most of the audience won't notice a clam or three. They are glaring to you, maybe noticeable to the rest of your band, but mostly lost on the audience. Just don't let the song grind to a halt. Gotta push through. Hell, I know you know this. I'm just old and have to dispense old timer advice.

I'm lucky in that I never really had stage nerves when playing with a band, at least not after the first gig or two I ever did. Now, I've tried a few solo shows and that is NOT my thing. ALL nerves. I do not like being the sole center of attention. I need at least one other person up there with me.

Job interview in a town near Tulsa today. If I end up moving up that way maybe I can catch one of your shows.

Hell, what places are there for gigs in Tulsa these days? I used to book shows around town. Now I don't know poopie.

My band actually has only ever really played the downtown lounge which is kind of the local metal bar, outside of that there's the Shrine, the Vanguard, of course on a higher level the Cains ballroom. Several smaller bars I don't know of I'm sure. But the dtl is basically the only one putting on really regular local metal shows.

Drink more pineapple juice...?

Only if it involves 151 and Malibu. No but for real pineapple is a staple. I drink a lot of smoothies.

Guys this new rig is the poopie. I haven't had an opportunity to really run her wide open but the low frequencies are so powerful already and I haven't even run the amp past 9 o clock with a 115. I also cannot really speak highly enough of the ampeg pre. I've always kind of been on the fence about ampeg aside from the SVT, but this pre(albeit an SVT) is killer. I love the ultra low rotary though I'll most likely have it off 90% of the time... But it wouldn't exactly strain my headroom to utilize the ultra. I am actually totally gas free aside from the insatiable pedal gas. I am honestly not really interested in any amps or guitars which is a unique feeling for me.

Had a pretty cool practice today, Megalith fit really awesome in the mix. I think my fuzz quest is over for now. Almost finished a new track, which took an unexpected postrock-ish turn at the end.

Also: I went to buddy's place on weekend for 3 solid days of drinking and raising hell. We went to the woods on Saturday and stumbled upon a 8-foot weed plant that someone planted in the swamps. It had still like month or even more to go so we let it be, but general happiness and a lot of picture taking ensued.
