This may be a stupid question but the GZR's should have no problem if I string the P up BEAD, correct? I assumed it'd fine but I can't find any data online one way or the other.

No problems but you might want to adjust the pickups for even volume. Which always seems to be by burying the e string and jacking the d/g

i've been itching to start a new project all together doing a Royal Blood thing but differently,

I want to call it Savant and explore music in a "Savant" way
it will include a mute singer,
a monkey masked wearing a rabbit suit
and a drummer

i am not sure whether anyone in my area will be okay with the idea though

Yes. My basses are in C standard to drop A# and I have no problems. Just balance the pickup height for equal string volume or however you see fit. I also use a BAII. Good call.
