Ouch! I figured. I read some Ace Hardwares do them for $70, but not by me LOL. Sold my motorcycle and bought an older Pathfinder on Sunday but apparently not old enough LOL. The old owner is trying to track down the spares that his kids had for me but I am a nervous Nelly with only one key.
I don't know much about wiring at all, I was given a Jackson JS3 but the EQ is fubar. Can I just drop in a new 3-band EQ, solder pickups/jack and call it good?
You can buy transponder blanks online but I don't know who cuts them for you or how it works. Hopefully your Pathfinder is older than 2005, otherwise there are some transmission issues.
Yeah it is a 2001. It's not a fob key but it does have a chip in it. Yeah I see you can enter your vin and get blanks and the ACE in town cut motorcycle blanks for me and didn't even charge but that's a risk they would do it again. I guess it is Stealership time. Plus it is like an hour each way to a Nissan dealer because I live BFE Smurf Village.

Yup. Just make sure to follow the wires properly. I'd suggest taking a picture for reference before you snip anything. But really I'd suggest to just play it passive.

Thanks. Can only blame myself and need to rip the songs more at home. Drummer didn't like my two comments that the tempo was hot and could not hear the changes. I's still up to me and it will not happen again. I just need to get some glow in the dark side fret markers and not get distracted. First song the second guitar player needed to switch guitars, something on his primary started cutting out. It was a tail spin for the first five tunes then the drummer was yealling at me I was out of tune. I was in perfect tune but not in the pocket. Again these are all my problems to over come. Also not going to drink at all any more before going on stage. It's not that I was drunk but I was just behind the stage tempo.
The inside is already torn apart unfortunately. Just ordered one of those ToneMonster 3Band EQs, guess I'll try my hand at soldering.
If I was going to keep it I would make it passive but this was given to me as debt payment, I really don't need anymore basses so I'm just gonna unload it on craigslist once it works.

I'm not sure what your waiting for, lol. Nothing special, just new gear.
Umm a $500 modern Jazz and a brand new AmpegV112 with the fake 60 degree thing and Scrambler. In total it was about $1000 worth of gear with a stein-berg ur-22 interface
I'm going to try and find an appropriate distortion with some VST and a lot of virtual eq and compression before I spend $250 on a b3k Darkglass lol
Any replacement pickups for this model? I just had to buy the one bass with no after-market pickup options...geez

I saw the back of one of Paul Gilbert's guitars. Had black tape on the back of the neck like block inlays on the back. I'm guessing for effortless fret changes
i prefer stainless...DR Lo Rider or Hi-Beams depending on the bass. i used to like nickel on my J basses but when i switched from an ampeg 810 to the matamp 215 the nickel just had too much midrange honk.
overdrive is a pair of fuzzrocious demons. fuzz is oxfuzz bass, bluebeard and wizard fuzz. vfe mini mu, cusack tap-a-phase and earthquacker afterneath for filters/modulation/reverb/delay.
i want to build a synth/noise board too at some point.
