I'd much rather listen to the most bouncy, monotone vocal Fu Manchu song than mostly clean guitar and flute. no matter how pretty the singer sings. I like dirty tones and aggressive songs, the 60's flower child culture/music thing is not my vibe.

Anyone have any tricks for keeping the grill on an AMPEG cabinet? The grill on my 610 keeps coming off the Velcro looks good but I guess will have to just bite the bullet and replace it...?

Replace it with the most heavy duty, f*ck you up the butt velcro you can find. Once those things pop, they never stop.

just get some replacements from fliptops, the vintage ones actually had plastic snaps not just velcro, much sturdier and better.

saxophones are awesome in the right context, but in rock music they are shaging horrendous. nothing lamer.
