Yeah, the rehearsal space is my basement, literally 6 feet away from me as I type this. I get all excited on TB about gear and whatnot, and I just can't help myself! I'm so close!
See, there's your problem.
I hardly ever hear my rig without the rest of the mix.
Wife's '96 fender mustang RI, tele is a weird sekova with a bad neck, the 4 pickup guy is a mij tele star.
All this pedal tweaking and stacking and mixing. I think I'd have to agree with @Sartori and say I wish all dirt pedals had tonal bypass options.
All this recent pedal gas of mine is kind of fizzling out really. gotta get this board figured out and my other amp working so I can figure out what I can flip.
I play most of the time just straight in anyways for timeliness/easiness or just cause it's more appropriate.

Mostly my pedals are just for "extra heavy" in certain parts. In the new stuff I've been using mainly the Swollen Pickle for that, since the Big Muff is pretty much only useful for wah and feedback, I've found.
i've been getting a darker type fuzzier tone with the druid fuzz or dark driving, but i'm not sure they will work live as well as the mid focused jack hammer grind of the rat tail with the post punk feedback loop

My main overdrive is just the D-180. Because annoying grind is my thing.
Maybe I should try a rat style pedal to enhance the obnoxious.
I'm wanting to get a custom pedal that does what the Pickle does and also does what the Muff does so that I can consolidate and have more space for something else on my board.
I almost always have a bass plugged in to my board so it's about the same but with pedals.
I fiddle with the knobs, but I have a general collection of settings I flip back to for band scenarios. All of my amps sound very different though.
Tell her it's a wild mustang and needs to be set free in Texas where I can help with the transition.
I used to have a legit pedal board (aka plywood and Velcro) then I sold the pedals that were on it. ever since I've been lazy and undecided so I just drag them out and wire them all up and it's just a big show to get started so I just plug and chug.
Most amps sound different, but I don't. So I'm just looking for amps that do my sound well or think to myself "maybe this ones different?!". Pretty sure a gk mb something and my rockmaster would cover everything perfectly. most my setting are just crank it or set it flat or off so easy to remember.
Does anyone have any idea if someone makes ormat style knobs that would fit .25" shaft guitar pots?
I've always wanted a clean amp as a platform for pedals. My board is bigger than its ever been, but it's mostly because I like having all those tones available, and partly because I'm in a new group, so it's easier for me to switch from one pedal to another to see what's working with these guys. When I find the tone that works, then I'll keep the pedal/s that are necessary for that tone.
Anybody have any input on a cheap but good delay? Preferably one with a tone knob, and that can do 600ms. I'm hoping to keep it under $50. I've seen the Joyos, but they don't have a tone knob. Is my Dan-Echo the only option in this range?
