That's only 2.5-3 hrs from me and the Mrs. has family up there. I say meet & greet.
That could be fun, we should make this happen.
I need additional cabs. I'll be running two duallys after tax returns next tax return. I'll be running two tube heads or a pre/power rig.
Ah. I'm sure I'm telling you something you already know, but usually with solid state amps the lower ohms, the more power you get out of the amp. Something to consider when buying/planning speaker ohm ratings. Even tube amps, IF built stoutly, will sound more delicious at lower ohm loads. Lots of variables as always, but a pretty safe rule of thumb. On the other hand, the lower you go with a cab's load, the more difficult it will be to run other cabs in parallel while still coming within what your amp can handle ohms-wise. There's always series/parallel boxes if need be too.

What exactly did you have done to your DF-2?
I'm thinking I might take the guy up, as a ds-1 with feedback might not be too bad, I'm not looking for lots of low end from another dirt.
I think Tuner > Slow volume > DF-2 > Cathedral > BB/HM-2/fig fumb (if I can swing it).
Bassballs nano somewhere in there, no idea where it should go. I wonder how it triggers if it gets a triggered swell by the slow volume thats blasted by the DF-2.
I think then finally, I'll have a board that's not terribly large (6 +/- exp pedal), capable of just some dirt or verb, or a serious ethereal goopy weirdness on my bass, guitar and the Lap steel that I'm slowly getting the hang of sounding somewhat consistent.

Both tube amps run at 4 ohms, though the V4B can do 2. My power amp can run at 2 ohms as well, but it's like 1600w @2. 870w at 4 ohms.
Best Bass Gear is having a clearance right now, a bunch of strings are on sale for under $20 a pack. I think I'm going to pick up a pack of stainless steel DR Lo-Riders to put on that Thunderbird I got recently. Normally I think steel strings are a bit too "zingy" sounding for my taste, but that bass is pretty dark sounding.

After a little digging I realized that BBG's clearance prices were the same as BassStringsOnline's normal prices, which is where I bought the last couple sets of strings I've used. Decided to try out some Rotosound Nickel on Steel strings, just for the hell of it. Never tried them and they're supposed to be the same as the regular more expensive line, but without the silk. Which I hate, aesthetically and functionally.
I meant I wonder if it eliminated the feedback all together or at all. Not really an issue just curious. And I think he had a ISP decimator.
That reverse P looks pretty cool.The Super J and Super P are 2" shorter scale length for those used to something more diminutive in their hands. 32" scale on the high string side.
Actually the fanned fret ergonomics help a lot with shoulder and tendinitis issues.
I kind of want a reverse SPJ5, but get torn over the SJXXX.

I just went with 4 ohm faitals. My 2000S cab is 8 ohms now, which is fine.
Abstracter are our studio-mates. The drummer is one of the guitarists in Catapult, actually.

Dead to a Dying World I saw with Graves at Sea on tuesday. They were phenomenal. I'd never heard them before, but I immediately bought their album.
I actually see way more women at doom metal shows than at any other type of metal show. For whatever reason.
I run the gate no. 1 in the chain. I don't think the gate would cut it off though, it's a pretty strong signal.
Touched base with Abominable on my noise issues with the God Brotherer... He wants me to shoot a video of it freaking out. Opened it up and noticed a bias pot on the board. Curious what it's biasing, seemed to be set pretty much dead center. So I'll get him some data this weekend and well see where it goes.
Last two weeks have been and ass kick for work. Dealing with so many different issues at once and projects can make your head spin and loose track of time.

Another good band practice, making progress.
I've been experimenting with the graphic eq on the 2pro and I'm realizing how great it is to have that degree of tone control on a tube amp. I also came to the conclusion that I'm going to put flats back on the ATK so I can hear what it sounds like with the amp.
