This photo is incredible.

Sup fellas. I'm not falling behind again. You guys are too hard to catch and if I don't read everything I feel like a dirty little cheater.

I got these kinda cool headphone I can plug directly into my bass. They don't sound half bad considering I got the bass specific ones. Nice for those 4 am practice sessions when my kid is sleeping.
Link?
I've had a hard time finding one's that sound good.

Southwest Terror Fest day 2

Hiked to Romero Pools in the Santa Catalina mtns just north of town in the afternoon, about 6 steep rocky miles total. Was nice. Cleaned up, met up with pals, some food and drink, and got to 191 Toole just as Phoenix death metallers Gatecreeper were finishing up. Missed Warmonger and Swamp Wolf. This earlier "Matinee" show was centered on grindy fast deathy hardcore stuff.

Gal had a nice black Ibanez PJ thing, sounded dead solid.

My personal faves were Immortal Bird and Landmine Marathon. Big crowd. Active pit.

On to the late show at Club Congress. Missed Naught whose set coincided with Dropdead. The place was super packed.

Graves at Sea^
We're heavy as fvck. And then

Bongripper^ just leveled the place. The whole hotel building was vibrating with the monolithic riffage. It was so packed I couldn't hope to get near the front but you couldn't escape the doom anywhere in the building, damn that was powerful.

Sleep tonight!!! I mean the band.

So, I have one spot left on my power supply. (Yes, I know I don't NEED to fill every power spot, but I really WANT to!) What effect should I get? I'm trying to get something new, as I have my core sound covered. Here's what I DON'T need:

Dirt (of any kind)
Envelope/Wah
Delay (Have a DOD Digital Delay that will suit me fine)
Synth/Octave (Got a Digitech Bass Synth Wah)
Tuner
Gate
HPF

Here's what I'm thinking:
Chorus? (Maybe? I'm kinda on the fence, don't know how often I'd use it and it's not a big sound for me.)
Compressor? (Or would my dirt take care of it? How COULD I use compression? Enlighten me?)
Flanger/Phaser? (Have a Joyo Flanger that's on my guitar board, used to be on my bass board and worked great.)
Anything else?

Suggestions for anything would be appreciated. Thanks as always, gents.
