Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Not really, just mostly does it live up to the Iommi-in-a-box sound? I've got an Ibanez and ESP, both Les Pauls, and a Peavey Transtube Supreme head for my guitar rig. Will it sound sufficiently doomy? Can it do more than doom? How does it do with faster stuff? I don't know, just a decent review would be cool. Thanks!
HC practice last night. Two more to go before the first gig. We're ready aside from tightening a few bolts.
MDT practice tonight. Have drums tracked for new EP, most bass. Naturally, with that stuff half complete, we'll work on new stuff tonight.

I'll see if I can wrangle a tube amp to test it out with. Tomorrow is busy but I should have time either Thursday or Friday to check it out. Will post back with my findings.
Tube amp is unnecessary. I don't have one. So if you're doing that for me, don't worry about it. Otherwise, carry on. And thanks again!
Got it, I'll probably try it in both a tube and SS, just for my own curiosity's sake.
Got 4, count 'em, 4 pedals coming in the mail tomorrow. Nothing too fancy or anything, but I'm excited! All for $100 or so, so a pretty sweet deal. Here's what's coming:
Boss Bass Chorus (Filling in the last bass effect I will need, until I get that dedicated octave pedal to replace the BSW)
Boss ODB-3 (Might flip it, don't really need dirt, but we'll see how it sounds)
Boss TU-3 (Need a tuner on my guitar board!)
DOD FX10 BiFet Boost (Apparently it's been heralded as the poor man's Klon? Gonna replace my DOD250 as a clean boost for my guitar)
Like I said, nothing earth-shatteringly cool, but I'm excited nonetheless!

Seriously though, I was raised by my mom and two older sisters. I now have a wife and two daughters. I DO admire and respect women and feel they are too often treated like second class citizens. They've been given the sh!t end of the stick for most of history. It can still be difficult...different animals.

Anybody know a place to get replacement knobs for a Boss pedal? Specifically CEB-3? I know Radio Shack has knobs, but the closest one to me is the next town over. And I don't really feel like paying shipping etc. for a single knob, so I'm trying not to contact Boss or do online stuff.

Dually arrived yesterday. Beautiful work this cab is. Sounds excellent with one exception, I'm pretty sure it has a bum speaker. Which is a bit of a buzzkill. I used my beta, both channels, and had the master on 6. The gain was at 1-2ish and the channel volumes were at 4 or 5. With a clean tone there is a very audible buzzing and a flapping sound. I'm going to email the builder tomorrow morning with a sound clip I recorded. I'm really hoping I can just pull the speaker and send it back. I know it will be a long wait for another but I really would rather not ship the whole cab. I'll just have to see what he says.
Also I noticed that the speakers were jumping pretty good with higher volumes. More than I would have expected from a 100w SS head at like 70% max output. Can a 100w head damage 400w speakers at that level of output? It makes me nervous to throw more substantial wattage at it. For now it's parked so no further issues arise.
