It is a sheet of clear plastic over the window frame, sealed tight. The air space trapped there works like insulation, and keeps drafts from coming in to your living space.
Buy one of these kits: Invalid Link Removed
Comes with double sided tape, put the tape around the window frame, cut a sheet of plastic to the size of the window + frame, attach plastic to tape, covering the window. Use hair dryer to shrink the plastic, making it wrinkle-free and making a tight seal. The air space between the window and plastic becomes your insulating layer, no more drafts. Works pretty damn well.
Provided there aren't huge gaps/leaks elsewhere. I spent two days sealing the window frames with silicone last year before I put up the plastic.
I mounted TV and floating entertainment center to the wall. I bought both items in February.
Only took me 9 months. Knocked a soup can off tall shelf in pantry onto my toe, toenail looking doomy.
Winterizing next weekend, windows and seals.
No one in my house has any form of the plague. First time in weeks.
Put a set of SIT Silencers on my Fury. So far I like em, first time with pressure rounds.
Bought a PVY T-Max locally for $100. Needs cleaned up but seems to work well.

So I'm wanting to build two 2x15 cabs with eminence 3015 speakers. Where is a good cab design to start with? I have a dually and I love it but don't want to spend the cash to have another made when I could do it myself for atleast a couple hundred bucks cheaper. So as close to the dually's design as I could get would be awesome.

If you look up JohnK's DIY 2x15 cab, that would probably be a good place to start. He used pretty thin plywood, which I'm guessing you probably wouldn't be, but it's only the internal dimensions/volume that really matter.

Day off. Friend just called to ask if he showed up in a truck with a half stack, if I'd bring the dually and my stuff to go jam with a guy across the metroplex. We'll see how that goes.
This just arrived an hour ago. 1x12 cab inbound later today as well. I did a lot of hunting and got both new for 20% off MAP. My new home recording/demo rig for guitar, to match my GK MB800/Eminence 1x10 rig I've been using at home for a long time.

The metal chassis cage is my favorite head style I think. Too bad it's not common and probably not easy to have made cheap for a rehouse.
It's kind of a shallow/trivial thing, but I really like the knobs and the marks they put around them. Makes it look like an old ham radio or piece of pre WWII Military hardware or something.
Guy texted to say he was in town and wanted to buy a guitar I had listed. Showed up 15 min later and bought it. Love the easy sales.
