Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Damn, Corey. I really want your luck to turn around.
We might be getting the old band back together (minus the drummer and extra guitar player), possibly. Super pumped about this possibility.
Singer/guitarist popped back up after 4 year absence, he's getting divorced. B*tch stabbed him in the hand...

Damn, that's harsh.

I don't even get upset anymore, I have zero expectations. I'm just trying to drag myself out of the depression of not even playing for myself anymore. I made myself a promise if this thing didn't pan out I would push myself hard to write material by myself and finish it. Even if I have to program drums and play them through a PA or stereo to jam along at full volume or something, I just want to play loud and jam again.

Santa gave me an earlier present. Micah's biodad got sent to jail for not paying child support. So since we have to spend the whole day at Sarah's family's house every year for Christmas, he always stumbles over and plays father of the year handing Micah some gift from 7-11 he picked up on the way over. Hard as hell every year to not crush his fingers when he puts his hand out to shake mine when he hasn't even called his own son on the phone in 3 years or more. So yeah I like Xmas 2015 so far. Plus the Krampus movie rocked!!!

Thanks man, me too. Like I said, even if I have to crank a drum track through a PA and just jam along, I wanna use that kickass gear.
Have you looked at that beat buddy thing?
With your programming skills you should be able to come up with good sequences and transitions that might feel more like jamming than superior drummer. At least if if functions the way its represented to be.
