It's like you told them they couldn't go to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters.
So I missed out on that Mark III. I had to take my girlfriend to the doctor yesterday at noon for what was supposed to be a 15-20 minute appointment. She was seen after 45 minutes, but It ended up taking 4 **** hours with no notification. During that time my phone died. By the time I got home and was able to turn my phone in again, it was 15 minutes past the meetup time and I was 30 minutes away. Now the guy won't respond to me, which is understandable. I explained the situation to him but I guess he didn't care. I felt like a real *******. Bummer but oh well I guess.

I really couldn't care less about the new Star Wars. Big Sci-Fi fan, but I've always been pretty lukewarm on the franchise. I'll probably eventually watch it when it's available to stream, but feeling zero excitement about it.
As a little kid I would've strongly disagreed but as an adult it's become more of a tossup.
I'm much more excited to turn in my shaging paper tonight and be done with this semester of school. THAT is exciting.

Totally random but for any of you mate or loose leaf tea drinkers this landed on my doorstep yesterday. It's a thermos that brews and filters the tea all in one design. Yerbacup it is called. Took me a few minutes to figure it out(I put too much mate in it and blocked the water flow) but once I did it worked great. Didn't have to worry about spilling any on the couch or me and it will be awesome for travel. Think I will get another one for work too and save my keyboard and desk from spills. I still want to try one of the mate mateo silicone gourds out too. Maybe I just like contraptions.
My attendance in general in theaters has taken a massive nose dive in the last years. Internet and a 60" tv do me fine.
I like going to smaller theatres to see throwback films. Austins paramount does that (TRailer park boys appear to have done a special there for Netflix).

I went to a movie tavern for the first time to see Krampus, I dug it. Fun to sit in nice office-style chairs. Some people were drinking beer out of these gigantic beer mugs which just looked cool and reminded me of people bringing their own mugs to the summer bazaars back home. Nothing will ever compare to going to a drive-in for me though, still one back in PA, it was fun taking the family to their first one.
The new Star Trek movies are basically like the comic book movies. Lots of action and a lot of jokes.
I'm hoping that Star Wars doesn't follow the same path.
Also they are marketing the crap out of the new Star Wars. Disney wants their money. haha

That is probably because Star Wars has always and will always be children's films. I'll concede that they are mildly edgy for children, but children's films they are.
I can't think of a single adult oriented film that has a character like C3PO or R2. Not to mention the Gungans and Ewoks.

I'm excited for the new Star Wars movie. Only because the new Star Trek movie franchise is a heaping pile of dung. Not that Star Trek movies have ever been really good, they seemingly have almost nothing to do with the TV series (serieses? sersi?), which is what I really like.
There's a movie tavern in town. Also Austin then Texas has the Alamo draft house (now expanding out of state.)
Drive in would be best, much easier to be a smuggler. Don't need a lady with an unreasonably large purse.
There's supposedly an X rated drive in a couple hours from me. That would be hilarious to see.
