Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I run 2x15 cabs, 8 ohms each one. about the connection, I may post a pic later. currently I'm at work.

So... any have any good/bad experience with the MXR micro flanger?? you think is useless?? As far as I go, Phasers and rotary simulators are quite cool for me.

+1 on phasers over flangers. I had a MXR micro flanger, I didn't like it, sold it off, just never sounded that great to me, but I haven't messed with many flangers though, except the old 80s Ibanez one when I was 14 and wanted to shred on 6 string, loved it back then lol.

Love the BF-2. Little to no low end loss.

Love the DOD FX20B Stereo Phasor, too. Also has really good low end retention and they're cheap.

I know Juan Alderete digs the Phase 100 (per his website). I'd probably try one out if I weren't content with my FX20B.

Well guys, it's finally happened. Our demo/1st album is up on Bandcamp.

It's been 15 months since we tracked and a what a long, arduous process it's been. I'm not totally pleased with the end result, but considering the circumstances it's pretty good. It's a document of the time - the band has gotten tighter, we've all picked up better-sounding gear and the new songs we're working on are head and shoulders above the old stuff.

At any rate, it could have turned out a lot worse. Free download for anyone that's interested

Processing...stand by.

Solid bass tone, very Saint Vitus style vocals, guitars sound kind reverby/distant or something. Cool overall, glad you guys finally got something out there, before it implodes. It's a little rough, but kind of a similar style (musically and production wise) to some classic doom metal albums, so there's some people who would probably dig it more for that reason.
