Got a B301 from my Uncle. Other than my fretless, it's my go to Bass.

Those basses have always intrigued me. It looks neck-heavy. Is it?

I just texted the guy to see if he's busy, can't wait to mess with that low end switch thingy next to the toggle switch, any experience with these basses? I'm hoping this is the one, I have my Hondo pro ii as my p bass, now I really want a humbucker bass, I've had bad luck with the past two, my Thunderbird killed my wrists and my Kramer 650b had a shaged up neck.

Not overly. I wear it pretty low, around the hip bone and am primarily a finger player. So I always have the rest of the hand to make subtle adjustments while I play.

I think I am the only one who makes spelling errors here. I try and correct them if I notice after the fact. I actually have to have my writing and math double checked at work since my migraines worsened so sorry if that bugs anyone here.

Mine didn't dive too bad. It was definitely a bit neck heavy. I think if I just let it hang, it was about parallel to the ground. Was easy to manage for the most part.

Just got an invoice from Orange USA repairs. Said warranty, zero amount due. But it is over 2 years old, bought originally by JMac, then I bought it from him. Glad I sent it to Orange and not a local tech.

Well, good on Orange USA. That kind of stuff makes me inclined to buy their products. On the other hand, did you get over on them, or did they have a transferrable warranty?

Most likely it was a known issue caused by a defect in manufacturing/design so they just decided to cover it. Good news!

JMac nor I abused it. I think it may have just been the volume pot, maybe super simple, or maybe there was a part that shouldn't have gone bad and not a normal wear and tear kind of thing. Which is cool or maybe an issue they knew about. Either way, good customer service I say.

Will it be loud enough for my coffee shop gig? I have a 1x10 I can bring if I have to, but I'd much rather bring my trusty 1x6.

The transformers are for show, they're cold cast urethane resin. The tubes will have LEDs in them for an authentic look. I'll have an empty 8x15 cab made from a lightweight fiberglass shell under it, for show as well since I'll only ever be running it through DI into IEM.
