Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Meh, I'm 35 and I'd be at the house show if the bands were halfway decent. Maybe pregame at the grownup party then head over to the show.

Opposite areas. Weirdly the guy I'm supposed to carpool with to the mature party is the neighbor of the other party. So I'm gonna say never mind, but imma use your parking spot :D

Have the option to adult and go to my friends Christmas party. I'll be 25 and everyone else around 30-35. Beer for sure. Maybe a tree fleetingly for a "wild" Christmas. But I'm afraid there might be goofy sweaters and wine involved.

Or my other friends having a Christmas house show party with keg and 5 bands...

How is there even any question here? KEGSKEGSKEGSKEGSKEGS.

I enjoy those more mellow parties enough, but I've never had nearly as much fun at one as I've had at a RAGER.

Flipping stuff like mad hustling. Getting a second Voodoo ISO VI for $40 tomorrow as my Christmas gift to myself (bass and guitar boards!) as I drive to Austin to rendezvous with family to drive to Tucson.

Family gift exchange idea was a jerky maker. Weird yet functional. I'd love to draw my own gift id try to jerk a whole Cornish game hen or something equally fun...

My friends and I have a tradition we like to call Disappointing Christmas. As it sounds, we exchange gifts that generally one would find disappointing to open on Christmas morning. We try to keep it at like $20 or less. It's actually fairly difficult as we have so much fun and laughter that it could hardly be described as disappointing though I guess that in itself is a disappointment.

barfed the remains of my lunch into an empty beer mug at the sports bar down the hill from my house, somehow i walked up the dicey path beside the spillway and i only fell twice, kinda remember my basset hound whining and trying to get me to feed him before i blacked out, gotta remember not to go out drinking with my next door neighbor when his wife is out of town, he seems to keep it kinda together when she's around

I laughed:

This is amazing, you think he'd learn. Dude needs to start wearing some rubber soled shoes.

This also reminds me of a game my friends and I used to play in high school. When we were travelling, we'd have one of those electrified tennis rackets for mosquitoes, and would see who could hold it to their nipple the longest. Fun times.

Some of the mishaps appear to be happening in a for-real lab, which means this guy is either a teacher or employed in an electronics field. I think it's a prefect example of someone that knows all of the theory but has no practical experience. His mistakes are all stupid ones, the kind of stuff you learn the first week of class in a tech school. Unbelievable.

shaging hilarious, but scary as hell. He's a liability to everyone around him.
