But the end destination is 10 days in a house in the desert outskirts of Tucson. oh well, more direct contact with family without breaks?!

Saw Star Wars last night, fun flick. Had a 36 degree kava circle with friends in the parking lot of the restaurant. Good times. That Raisy Didley chick is pretty yummy.
So with my new found freedom and the ladyfriend taking the whole week off in-between xmas and new years, and it still being summer here in Millerwaukee, we've decided to jump in the car and go find snow...We're going to circle Lake Michigan, put the lake on the right of us and keep it in view as we go around the way less traveled. Should be fun!!!
Cruisin for Christmas lights tonight with my daughter. Then home to watch some kiddie christmas shows until her bedtime. Then daddy will finish up watching Daredevil on Netflix and get some headphone practice in and maybe a little reading.

Daughter is back from Science Camp last week. She picked up a cold in the process and now I have it. Figures she would pick something up living with 10 kids and one Naturalist per cabin for a week.
Were hunkering down for some R&R for the next two weeks. I have a show to play next Sunday. Were closing Roosters in Alameda, last show that will ever play there... After the new year it's getting bull dozed for more condos.

yeah, Star wars was pretty decent. Not groundbreaking, but decent.
btw.. any of you guys ever have a "main player" that got sidelined by a new purchase and then rediscovered? Man oh man! My early 90s stingray was my "go-to" bass for years, but its been kinda sitting in the case since I got that jazz and a Sabre. I pulled it out this morning and for the life of me cant figure out why I would ever need ANY other bass!! Great Googly Moogly do I loove that thing!!!

I wish we didn't go see star Wars in 3D and we got stuck sitting up way close so it was just a jumble of blur mostly so I can't wait to Redbox it. I almost sold off the Jazzguarbird when Julian found the Waterstone for me. Plus I had some little frustrations with the build that took me a while to get straight. After I got it all squared away and the action dialed in and put flats on it the Waterstone is second fiddle now. So good thing I didn't sell it off.
Happy Monday. Saw Star Wars on Thursday and Sunday and love it. Will probably nerd out and see it once or twice more. Fun HC gig on Sat., got to hang a bit before and after the set with @ampegfuzz.
I spent the trip in a sleeping bag under the kitchen table of the Winnebago. I'd say Alpine, maybe even like San Angelo.
Hard to say as I don't notice if it isn't muggy. Right now even Austin/DFW didn't feel that humid. Cool dry, now it's temperate and dry with big ass saguaro cactus in sunny Tucson.
I need a shower I can smell my own balls...

Happy Monday fellas. Surprisingly busy @ work. I think this week is going to be a pre-holiday scramble, then next week should be pretty quiet. Hoping to get some workbench time tonight, replaced the electrolytics in the AC12 over the weekend and I have a gremlin or two to track down. Extremely quiet, distorted output - no me gusta.
I put that Epi Thunderbird I just bought recently up for sale on the local CL. Don't want to, but I'm broke yet again, holidays are coming up and payday is about 10 days away. Being the sole earner in the family is pain. I got a bonus this year, but it went straight into cover overdrafts, poop.
Woop!!! Kava:30 already?!? My crazy russian light bulbs came in aswell...now to take the Mace into the tech.
