Al was playing a bunch-o Es Ve Tees. i think he also ran through a hiwatt guitar head for some extra high end. did not like his full on distorted tone. but when he turned off the distirtion those Ampegs jad just the right amount of awesome.

Went to jam with the guy who bought my HM-2. Was fun, I brought my guitarist friend. The guy started on guitar but had trouble with my friends rhythm patterns and switched to drums and it sounded better and tightened up with the drums.

Gear talk

Good: Stereo Jag in drop B♭, SD 1/4 pounder P pickup into rockmaster, dually. Surprisingly that rig competed and was heard over both half stacks with zero fart so win for now.

Bad: J pickup sucks, and I intended to use it for more grind vs the p that is meant to be the boom in the stereo setup. It's just too weak. What sucks is my rockmaster is 4 ohms only so I can't use it with my bassic for the J pickup when I do get back in stereo mode...

Ugly: the front foot on my dually broke leaving 2/3 of the wood screw still jammed in there... Got relocate or figure that out somehow. As of now it slumps forward and sideways kinda derpy.

Send me a picture if you like, and we'll see what can be done. I can send a small amount of duratex to touch up any problems too. AND BE MORE CAREFUL!!!

I had that same thing happen on my dually as well. I used a higher quality and thicker stainless screw and just attached it a little outside the original screw. I want to say it was a #10 but it may have been larger. It's been holding up great since. I actually replaced both of the front feet screws and hit the rear axles with loctite, because they were twisting loose on my long hauls to the venue.

Been super busy at work, and now I'm studying prehistoric - medieval art history. I find it very interesting, which is an odd sensation for school work. Anyway, that's why I haven't been on here much today. Sorry to hear everyone's Dually woes. I think my swr cab would damage the sidewalk and be perfectly fine if it fell off a truck. But I know that's not exactly the point of a Dually.

Got a super cheap delay pedal kit from china - no schematic or instructions, no rating labels on the pcb. Going to try contacting the seller, but I might be screwed.

Like the caves of Lascaux stuff? One of these days I'll find a good coffee table book of that. Something about that really early stuff thrills me.

There's a cool Ted Talk about finding similar symbols in cave paintings around random areas of the earth. Seems like early man no matter where they were liked to paint their hands on the wall. I was hoping to see one turned into a turkey :)
