LH series are not class d. I've been using my for two years at high volume and haven't had any issues. Seems rock solid to me.
I'd pick that up in a heartbeat.
If I was a trucker. That truck is totally made for pulling coin-operated tail.

Home from MDF. Had a lot of fun. Met some great people and drank a lot of alcohol.
Got my first show with the EGC. Performed flawlessly and got a lot of attention from everyone who talked to me. Made friends with the sound guy before we checked, he hooked us up, apparently we were way louder than any other band that played despite using less amps than normal.
Our guitarist got a little too into it at the end of our set and. accidentally snapped the neck off his agile LP which sucked, but I guess made for a good show.
Overall pretty fun weekend.

Great to hear the show went well. Can only imagine what kind of monstrous tone that EGC of yours was producing. Also, so shaging keen for my Heroin and Miserable LPs to arrive in the mail in the next few weeks.
Now hurry up and smuggle yourselves into Australia for a tour already! The Live at Roadburn LP only gets me so far
Speaking of G&L's here is Ed's review of their new P-bass. I know most of it wont be useful around here, but there is some pick style in there. I find it interesting, as he is using a F112, and from what I understand, plans to use that rig for his future reviews.
Looks like the Mooer pedals, wonder if they are being sold under another name.

Had a busy long weekend - attended a pretty awesome show friday night, a co-worker's band and 5 others - pretty much all in the S/D vein. Had a good time, drank too much, walked home. It's fun when a heavy rock show and hanging with co-workers can combine and everyone has a good time. Makes me appreciate my job and the cool people that I get to work with.
Opening band featured the dude that drummer and I will be jamming with soon - awesome musician and good guy.
Saturday I did some gardening at the community garden plot and went to the country property for another round of Morel hunting - found two. Made kickass morel/parmesan cheese omelettes for breakfast yesterday.
Sunday, more community gardening, then loaded out all of my gear from guitar player's basement. Since I have no room for Giant Bass Rig in my apartment I had to drive all of that to my parents place and haul it into the basement. I expected to be more bummed out about being done with the band but it just feels good to not have to worry about it or deal with it anymore. Got at least one new project cooking and I'm looking forward to music being fun again.
Yesterday the wife and I looked around at what has to be one of the largest antique mall/flea market/junk shops in the country.
Now back at work.

It's like Hartley Peavey says - "Anybody with money and a plane ticket to China can get into the speaker business."
He was talking about speakers - but it applies here. I wouldn't be surprised if those Donner pedals are from the same factory as the Mooer stuff - anyone with money can go over there, visit a factory and have them stamp your brand on a product.
Also - turns out you can bypass the LH1000's preamp using the effects return. That what I get for listening to TB trolls spewing "knowledge".
Morning gents, starting my week on Tuesday after the nice three day holiday weekend. Had a nice weekend, jamming with a drummer, hanging with a friend, cooking dinner with the wife.
I had 4 drummers lined up to audition last week. One was kind of a dud, one canceled, the one I jammed with on Saturday was really good and the fourth has still not scheduled a date to jam, despite being really enthusiastic, and takes about 2-3 days to return every email (and never seems to say anything, it's like some kind of magic trick). So I extended an invitation to the drummer I met with on Saturday to start this new band with me. He was really into the songs I sent him, he had them down cold when we met and we had some great talks about bands and gear. He loves big, vintage drum shells, is used to playing with lots of stage volume and apparently he also collects Earth tuck n roll amps/cabs. He was excited when I told him about my Dunwich amp build and my planned 4x15 cab project. So I'm waiting to hear back from him, but I think he's in based on the conversation we had after jamming on Saturday. Next up is trying out guitarists. I already had one scheduled for Thursday and he canceled last night, which is fine. Same as when one of the drummers canceled, better to avoid flakiness now. I have another guy who I've been in contact with, who wanted to wait until I had a drummer locked down before jamming. So we'll see if that comes together, but I'm going to edit and renew my CL ad for finding a guitarist once the drummer gets back to me.

Thanks man, I appreciate the support. I feel like since I've been more focused, direct and raised my standards (or lowered my BS tolerance), things have been coming together a lot easier.
It's cool to see that your change in approach is yielding good results. I'm trying to come up with a strategy/plan for the way I approach bands in the future - direct honesty coupled with the action to back it up seems like a no-brainer.
Biggest change for me has been editing myself a lot. Not using phrases like "I want to", "I'm trying to" and "I'd like to" and just say what I'm doing, what is required, what I expect. So not "I'd like to practice once a week", but "must be able to practice at least once a week". I need to do more of that verbally in my life, especially at band practice. I have a tendency to disclaim everything I say before I say it, which I realize is confusing as hell if you're not already in my head and know what I'm about to say. It makes for really ineffective communication.
I haven't seen that many up for sale before, outside a couple on here. I haven't used mine that much lately, but that's because I've been using my GK and it already has a HPF built in to the power amp. Mine will probably work it's way back onto my board once the Dunwich arrives. I find I get more use out of it with tube amps and vintage designs.
