That's the plan. Sell my fretless neck and buy the fretted. After that I'm on the hunt for an "ideally" unfinished PJ body. I'm open to P, J or Jag style but would prefer Jag or P. If I find a used painted body I may go that route as well. That will just depend on how badly I want to stain the wood and how motivated I am to strip the poly.

Sorry i haven't been around much for a while, I've been super busy with the bees for a few months but i just had to pop in with some gear porn! I finally got to put together a rig I've wanted for years!

How does that amp compare to others in your arsenal?
Its pretty sweet!
The cab is excellent with any amp, and I'm a real fan of the Ashdown tone. Good and clear when you want it, grimy and gnarly when you need it.
Not a fuzz at all, scooped kinda poopy distortion. Not a fan.
Never on bass. My guitarist had one for a while. It was decent, really had to watch the high knob as it got ice-picky quickly. I know The Sword's guitarist (one of them at least) used to use one back in the day. They're pretty cheap used. I've seen them between $40 and $50 pretty regularly.
I bought a Rowin mini pedal that was a metal muff clone, thought it was a Rat - cue disappointment. Also, have been in bands with people that used them in the past, never cared for it. Bass or guitar.

That's killer, really like all the Ashdown stuff I've played through.
Aaaaaaand now an Orville Thunderbird IV in white is for sale in Seattle, debating taking the P-Bass as soon as it arrives and offering it as a trade...
Korg is dropping Ashdown, so watch for sales/deals in the next few months as dealers blow out their inventory.
