Yep, don't sweat the goof ups, poopie happens. I thought your set was killer.
Oh and Im getting a Rockmaster now. The tech bill for the VTA was gonna be close to $700, WAYYYYYY more than i had planned, so Im giving it back to the guy and were basically trading the vulcan for the Rockmaster, everyones happy now.
Itll be replacing the 3120 as the highs amp, and best part the Rockmaster is 2 ohm stable, so 4 cabs 2 head are totally possible.
Sure im not getting a big tube amp i guess but theres more festival tube heads out there that are in working order. Plus i preordered one of those F800B preamps to run with my 800 booster, so that should really be the best bass rig.

No, got laid off from that last fall. It was only a temp job. The job I had after that, which was much better, content review in the south bay for like twice as much.
Put it down & back away slowly.
We played a solid set at the show Saturday. Used the back line Ampeg SVT-CL and 810. Really huge low end. Used the Gammadrive and HSD combo with a little chooch of treble to get some shimmer. First time using Ampeg didn't disappoint.
Playing a house party on Saturday with some awesome bands. Pretty excited, never played a house show before. Hopefully it doesn't rain, but you never know.
Finally got my pedals doing what I want them to do without insane feedback. Sounds absolutely crushing, which is good because the band is getting heavier every new song.
About to put some fender flats on my P, hopefully they are what I'm looking for.

Nothing fancy, just a partscaster. I bought an unfinished jazz bass body from Guitarfetish and JMac Whiskerfacedesigns routed the holes to accept the Gibson Thunderbird pickups I found on the classifieds. I bought the Jaquar neck off of him too. I just used a Telecaster control plate which leaves a gap around the neck pickup. I guess I could do some custom pickguard or something to hide the gap but oh well. I don't really care for the bridge I put on and think I will go back to a simple Fender style bridge. It is super light because the body is paulownia and that is why I thought I should use a high mass bridge. I used black artist oil to do a little stain and then finished it in gun stock oil. I really love the tone so I think I may invest in a nicer neck and swap the bridge too.
All I ate the last 5 days was Indian food... it's not how much, but how often it decides to leave me that's the trouble.

I made bacon Asiago hush puppies, and corn dogs at work for staff meal on saturday. So good.
Maybe I'm weird, but I put my boss OC-2 up to trade for an OC-3.

I like my analog and my digital. I hate digital OD/fuzz/distortion and I hate analog delay, both equally worthless to me.
@askrere what are you looking for out of analog that you get from digital? Specific effect types?
The OC2 is the ultimate octave down in my opinion. But I wouldn't use it for anything outside of standard tuning.
So....what kind of effects you use live then?
