Interesting that they're 33" scale, like Rics.
Its odd, but it works pretty well to offset the length of birds.

Wider, more Fender-like neck, one pickup with lots of growl in a sweet spot. And that might be the route of it more than just the Precision, I just like one pickup. Barring the Ric and EB-3, which I do like the combo of both on, I only ever use the neck pickups on the Jazz and Thunderbird, and on the Ric I primarily use the horseshoe I'd probably be totally fine with it as a 4000. I really love the way the Bird body feels as far as how it supports my right arm, so it seems like the Greco would be a good middle ground between the features I like in a precision and a thunderbird. Plus, the IIs just look cool all stripped down, and I'd love to refinish one in Ice Blue Metallic.
I feel ya! I got a 2013 nonreverse reissue with thunderbucker Ranch pickups (66 I think), I got it as is in a trade and still wonder why the previous owner spent an additional 250 bucks (incl. Import to Germany) for the Bridge pickup. If ever I build a Fenderbird, it's gonna be single pickup! never use the Bridge pickup anyway. I got P's and a Jack casady and a telecaster bass, never missed a second pickup on those guys.
Which is....?I am now the owner of the most ridiculous effects pedal I've ever seen.
The Korg MikuWhich is....?
So jealous right now. Is it as subjectively awesome as I have hoped? The Korg Miku

Bought a really BIG bass drum. Old slingerland 30" with decent heads for $150.

Why is the amp on top of the bass drum head?
Cool amp! Hope that kick drum head didn't get stretched out by the Peavey, those 30" heads aren't cheap.
Not much going on in casa de janitor, bandmate bought a Zoom recorder that we're going to try to use to get some practice room demos. We'll see how it goes.
Buy it and pair it with the T40.
Both of those are going to probably continue to go up in value as one is a TB darling (T40) and the other one is finally starting to get more respect in more circles (361). I'm kicking myself for not jumping on a dirt cheap 140 head recently as I couldn't justify more music crap for a bedroom hobby and now I regret that.
