I am the say way on rides, it sucks. Even some of the damn rides at the water park do that to me. I'm a bench warmer too LOL.

Oh, I almost forgot to chime in on dirt dynamics. I never go full clean live. I like to at least have the Sheehan OD on to get a little high end bite. Lately it's been the Sheehan + Volt Thrower on almost all tracks, with the Wizard Fuzz thrown in on passages where I need extra dirt and a volume bump. I'll say that the combination of Sheehan + WF + Bass Whammy is devastating. Prior to using the VT, I used a BDPG, but I prefer the VT because it seems to have a little more presence to it, at least how I have it dialed right meow.

Can't do going out to a theater by myself. I get super lonely after the movie is over, because I'm so used to being with friends and being able to talk about the movie.

Also, I can't really justify the expense for something that's going to be neither music-related, nor social.

I can't do actual roller coasters. I puke. And I hate puking.

I hate going to the movies especially when a movie has just been released. Our cinemas are full of obnoxious wankers who sit wherever they like and talk throughout the majority of the films. Not to mention how expensive they are...the ticket alone costs about $25 for an adult and a regular popcorn/coke combo sets you back another $20. Times that by two and I'm looking at close to $100 for a movie date with poopy snacks.

Nah, I prefer watching a movie at home if it happens to be on TV. I'm not big on films so I'm easy to please. If I do watch anything, I enjoy watching older flicks more than newer ones - especially blockbusters. None of these newer films will do it for me like Jurassic Park and the original Men In Black did back as a kid.

And on the topic of rides, I hate rollercoasters and everything associated with them ever since I got stranded on one for two hours. shag rides, shag slides and especially shag rollercoasters.

If you can find paper or gel squares nothing is better than going to Disney World zonked out of your brain. I don't do that stuff any more unless it is at Disney. It is like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but in the new "American Dream." Of course, I have a connect so I don't have to pay to get in and I only go during the slow times of the year which is also when Florida is not insanely hot. Also, you have to be really experienced so you don't freak out in an environment like that, but man it is like seeing into the collective soul of consumer culture America which is equal parts fascinating, exhilarating and terrifying.

I went on a terrifyingly awesome journey last time I was offered geltabs. Things got sour halfway through the trip and this looming sense of fear and panic took over. Wasn't fun at all. Still, it was awesome playing bass because I could taste the notes I was playing...

I love me some paper tabs, never had gel as a medium. No freak outs for me, just had fun, only downside is I can't sleep after very well.

Yesterday I took two (banned word apparently, but it's a legal thing?) in the morning and wound up sleeping 4 out of every 6 hours within 24 hours... Not fun and I missed a friends get together.

Last night was awesome, was acting like a total tourist in Chicago, went to kumas corner for the first time and got the church of misery burger, and girl go that you burger, me and my buddy brad went to every bar on division street looking for the three Floyd's razor hoof ale, could not find it anywhere. But I did try a Belgium quad ale that smashed me into the dirt 11.2%!


Asides from that high on fire played a shaging greatest hits set practically touching on all albums, got to hear cometh Down Hessian live which made my year lol, also they were using cabs and head back lined I've never seen before maybe you Chicago guys have heard of it, its called "digator"? I think? Matt was using 3 4x12s and Jeff was using these two ported 4x10's, sounded pretty special!


In other news my band hit a brick wall two days ago, we've recently wrote two new 10 minute slammers and we planned to get together and agree on lyrics and new band name, we felt that the eternal dog mother had lost her spark and we few new ideas which I'll tell you all soon for opinions, but either way my second guitarist didn't show up and we were worried about him called him and found out he's most likely quiting the band to get a job at Ford because he just got his girl pregnant this news hit us in a strange way like congratulations on your child but a big part of wanted to be like you shaging idiot.... Ugh so now were a three piece again and back to the drawing board, we were so close to recording!
I still love the kid and he's a very close friend but talk about taking that unexpected fork In the road.

Also riffin roarin Randall is almost complete, need to find the right size washed to hold my input jack in place!
