My girlfriend has been grooming dogs from home now so we just had to tell Micah no YMCA this summer. He is bummed because they go to the pool every day and he has buddies there that don't go to his school so he only sees them at the Y. Felt bad but as Ray says on the Trailer Park Boys, that's the way she goes boys...

I am so not joking when I say we went to a live animal show at a theme park, they had an orangutan on the poster, and they advertised a VIP package to meet the "stars" of the show and you bet we bought in. Let me tell you, the orangutan was definitely the star of the show. Afterwards at the VIP meet and greet, no orangutan to be seen and half the animals there weren't even in the show. I asked, like a f*cking excited 5 year old, if the orangutan was going to be there. They said she doesn't come to the meet and greets, she's resting backstage in her dressing room *giggle* sorrrrry.

My reaction was something close to this...

Actually just saw that one while I was searching for the other story. They're some nice apes. We've got a few at the little free zoo here in Madison, but no personal meet and greets.

The distortion/overdrive/fuzz volume should be louder than your clean volume. I cant stand it when a band goes from a "heavy" part into clean and the cleans are significantly louder than the distortion. It reminds me of bad high school battle of the bands.

also agreed. sounds lame when distortion does not take things up a notch

apparently we did have too many gigs booked so the gods stepped in and broke our drummers hand.

but only missed 2 gigs, he played Tuesday with cast and all. sounded alright but he said it was starting to sting a bit towards the end. so its prolly messed up

trying it again tonight at a house party
